          Chapter 6

"Dani, you awake?" Mason asked. With every word he poked me in the arm. I slowly opened my eyes and looked up at him. "Why is he here?"

I looked over to a sleeping Tristan who cuddled me close to him. He was dead asleep with his arms were wrapped around me tightly as he slept.

"He slept over," I say. Mason glared at the two of us. "Mason, we were meant to be. He's my mate." I tell him.

"He's your mate? You found him? This...this is fantastic." he whisper shouted all happy and shit.

"You know what this means, right? You're going to find your mate." I said to him. He smiled at that and left.

I looked at the clock on my phone. School started in less that an hour and a half. I pried Tristan's arms off me and ran over to my bathroom to get ready. I changed into a black, strapless top, black Arizona skinny jeans, and an over sized black denim jacket. I let my dark blue, almost black, hair fall down in curls. I walked out after I brushed my teeth and went to wake Tristan up from his sweet slumber.

"Tristan, wake up." I say in his ear.

"I don't wanna go to school, mom." he mumbled half asleep. I rolled my eyes laughing.

"Tristan, sweetie, I'm not your mom. I'm Dani, remember we slept together last night at my house." I say poking his cheek.

"We had sex?" he asked asleep.

"Eww! No you motherfucker. I just met you." I thought to myself. He laughed at my comment.

"Mark might attack me if you're not at school. Might wanna protect me from him." I walked over to grab my things. When I turn around, Tristan stood fully dressed and groomed, minus the hair.

"Ready?" he asked reaching to grab his things. I blankly look at him, stunned. He smiled at my face.

"Yeah." I said snapping out of it.

He picks me up of the ground and throws me over his shoulder. He walks down the stairs with me. When we reach the bottom step, he turns back towards the stairs and puts me down. I spot my mom wiggling her eyebrows at me. I roll my eyes at her. Tristan takes hold of my left hand with his right and walks me to the door. He stops when he sees my mom.

"Hi, you must be Tristan. I'm Dani's mom, Emma." she says smiling. He smiled back and says hi.

"Well...we should go now. Bye, mom, love ya. I'm going to go to Tristan's house later after school, might be home late." I rush out as we leave.

"She seems nice. I can see where you get your looks from." Tristan said.

"I look nothing like my mom! She's a red head, I have blueish black hair. I never dyed it, I was born like this." I told him.

"What about your dad? Do you have any of his features?" he asked.

"He hates me. And no, I don't." I say.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know. Please forgive me!" he pleaded.

"It's ok. You didn't know." I laugh. He kneeled down and had both hands together in one big fist in front of me, outside. I started to blush when he did that.

He got up and took my hand into his. When he wasn't around, I felt lost and open for attack. With him, I feel safe and found. We walked to class and the school day passed. After we got out of school, we walked all the way to Tristan's house. When we arrived, his mom greeted us from the kitchen. We walked in holding hands. When we entered, we saw a huge feast set up and not his mom.
