Chapter 14: What is That?!?

Stoick

We followed the way to Dragon's Den with the Nadder's help.

Gobber was scared, and asks, "Stoick, what shall we do once we arrived in the isle?"

I replied, "We'll destroy the Nest, and the Dragons will leave and find another home to live in."

"Oh, ok, you're the Chief." The Blacksmith said.

Felix was thinking about his daughter again. I couldn't imagine of how hard it was for him for three years with Ingrid, knowing that their daughter is no longer with us.

"You're thinking about Astrid, aren't you, lass?" I asked him.

He nods, "Yes. I do miss her terribly and this is what I must do to avenge her death."

As I was about to reply, The Nadder sensed that we were close to the isle.

We followed her lead as we approached a thick fog and we went through it.

The Nadder went crazy as if she noticed something.

There was a mountain facing us, I knew what that mountain was.

It was the Dragon's Nest. We had arrived.

"We're here." I said, happily.

I jumped off the boat as the other Vikings followed my lead.

"We'll use the catapults to get the dragons to leave." I told them.

 The catapults were thrown and then we noticed the dragons.

We yelled and scared them away.

Gobber

The beasts flew off in the other direction as they flew away in terror of seeing us.

"It's over, we won!" A Viking yells.

But Stoick sees the Nadder who shook violently in the chains in the ship.

"It's not over! Stand together!" Stoick commanded.

Then all of a sudden, the mountain came bursting out and there was a huge Dragon as she came out angrily.

Stoick and I step backward in total shock of what we had seen.

"What is That?!?" I asked the Chief.

Stoick realizes that this is what Hic must've meant.

"I'm such a fool."

One of the Vikings yelled, "Get to the ships!"

"No!" Stoick yelled, but it was too late.

The massive Dragon blasts her fire as the fire touches the ships including where the Nadder was in.

She whimpered in freight as we watched the ships were destroyed.

Felix said, " Stoick, what shall we do?"

He said, "Felix, you and the rest will have to go to the far side of the island."

The Hofferson said, "You got it, Chief."

"What you going to do?" I asked my best friend.

"I'm going to get that thing something to hunt."

Stoick

So... this is what Valkyrie wanted to do. She wanted to find this thing.

It was the reason that Dragons were raiding us! How can I be such of fool for not listening to my son or her?

I knew that I have to do something to protect the whole village.

"I'm going to get that thing something to hunt." I told Gobber.

He stops me and grinned at me.

"Let me help. It'll be like old time's sake." He said.

I am grateful to have him for a friend.

"Here!" I yelled, running towards the Dragon.

Gobber laughs, "No! Here!"

I threw my axe to get the beast's attention.

"Fight me!" I said.

"No, me!" Gobber yells.

The Dragon was about to hit us, but an familiar blast hits her.

What I couldn't believe I saw.

It was Valkyrie and Toothless coming in and Hiccup is riding behind. I also seen the other teens also had Dragons as well.

I formed the words, "What the-"

Hiccup and I looked at each for a bit, but then he looks away.

Was Valka right? Was I too harsh on Hiccup?
