Tord x Reader: The Ball

Y/n's POV:

Me and the others were just casually on the couch watching television like always. You know the guys right. Edd, Tord, Tom, and Matt. All of us have been best friends for 5 years.

I actually met them in high school when they were a band and I became a singer. I still do sing to this day, I just don't sing as much. This was actually a normal day for us.

DING DONG!

We all looked to the door then looked at each other confused. Had anyone ordered something besides Edd who always buys gallons of cola.

"Hey Edd, I think that might be for you." Tom said while "reading" his book.

"No I don't think so. My delivery doesn't come until Tuesday." Edd responded.

DING DONG!

The doorbell kept on ringing. I sighed and got up from the couch. I opened the door slowly to make sure there wasn't any serial killers at our door. But instead I saw a mail man at the door step.

"Hello. I have a letter for uhhhhh.... Miss. (l/n)." The man said emotionless. I can tell he was forced to do this job.

"Oh uh.. thanks I guess? I wasn't supposed to be getting anything though." I responded back to him confused.

"Well your name's on it so it has to be for you" He then handed me the letter. "Have a good day Miss." Then he just left. Some mail man.

I walked back over to the living room and sat on the couch while opening my letter. Apparently the letter caught Matt's attention.

"OOOHHHH!! You have a letter?! What is it for?!?" I just rolled my eyes at his childish sentence.

"Well I didn't think I would get anything so I don't know just yet." I opened up the letter fully and saw a red piece of paper.

I looked at the letter and read what had been on the paper. The words were in cursive so I don't really know what some of it says. I tried my best to read it.

Congratulations! You, Y/n L/n, have been chosen to attend the 'The Blood Moon Ball' at the City Hall! (A/N:Just go with it please.) We would love for you to come and join our festive ball! We hope to see you tonight!

"Hey! Cool! I get to go to this thing called the Blood Moon Ball! Sweet!" I said excitedly to them.

"Oh right! I forgot that the eclipse was tonight! That is awesome that their holding a ball for the eclipse!" Edd jumped up in the air happily.

"Yeah! I can't wait to see what I can wear!" Matt shouted out.

"That's cool." Tom said. He always was like this.

"That's great we can all go!" Tord said as he put his arm around my shoulders and smiled.

I have always had a crush on Tord. It's just the way he says things with his beautiful accent, it's amazing how it can make me blush. Wait. It didn't say for them. It just said that I was invited. Aw man. I have to go alone then.

"Hold up just a minute guys. The letter said that I was chosen to go to the ball. Not you guys, just me!"I yelled over their cheers as it died down a bit as I talked.

I crossed my arms and stuck my tongue. They're happy faces soon turned into sad ones as they found out it was only me who was going. Tord didn't seem so happy about that.
