Hey guys! I have no school tomorrow, or when you read this it will be Friday. But I wanted to update this and happy 20th chapter I guess!?! This is a request from @star_fenfen! This will be a short one though.

Y/n's POV:

Here I am.

Just a little 13 year old that probably shouldn't exist.

But I'm here anyway.

Let me give you a quick recap of my life.

I was only two years old when my father died. He was a great man in the army. I could just barely recognize his face since I was only two. But when he died in war, my mother couldn't take it. She started to become depressed. She started drinking. She couldn't take care of me by herself with a whole lot of stress, so she gave me up to the St. Mary's Orphanage.

(A/N: I don't know if that is a real orphanage or not?)

I could still remember when I was only five and she dropped me off. These one last words that I will forever hold. You are a special person, (Y/n). Don't let anyone tell you less. I can see your father's brave spark in your eyes. I still miss her voice. But I could now hardly remember it. The last I saw of my mom was when she rode down the street looking at me with sad eyes with tears going down her face.

That day lead me to this day at 13 years old. But I have never been adopted for one reason. I was irresponsible. I was always the creative kind of kid that would make creations out of bare things. That is what got me no friends at this orphanage.

I only actually have one best friend. His name is Tyler and I met him three years ago when he was being bullied and I helped him up. That got us together but no more friends. We were both 13 and had no parents. Ty said that he didn't want to share what happened with his parents but that's fine with me.

All the kids here are really annoying, stupid, or just plain old mean. The kids were either our age or 6 and below. But me and Ty were the only ones with a true passion and intelligence.

That gained us respect from the adults. The adults like Mrs. Melenie was really nice. She would sneak us snacks at nap time whenever the other kids took our food from lunch.

We had no idea what was coming today though. That we were getting adopted.

Tord's POV:

"Edd, I don't think this is a good idea. Think of all the money that we have to spend on just a kid?! Really don't want to have another kid here with Matt around." Tom said. But I didn't disagree with him. He had a point.

"Nonsense guys. We have been sitting around this house for years doing nothing. I think it's time we have someone new in our lives!" Edd argued back.

Darn, Edd had a point as well. You see, Edd and Matt wanted to adopt for some random reason. Whenever we go to the park, we always see lots of kids running around enjoying themselves like when we were kids. So Edd and Matt thought it would be good for a change.

"Fine. But with Matt and the commie around, you better take care of them." Tom finished the conversation.

"Whatever guys, can we just go now?" I asked, being bored of this talking and standing.

"Yes! Let's a-go!" Edd just made a Mario impression. I think I would like to die now please.
