A/N: This story is basically a very shitty and confusing clusterfuck, I want to edit it eventually and make it less of a mess and more understandable and make characters like John less one-dimensional. But if you want to read it as it is now, you have been warned.

"Alexandra! Come downstairs, the guys are already here!"

Alex has a good family.

Good grades.

Good friends.

He may be a little grumpy sometimes, but he loves the life he has.

That's until someone calls him by his real name, "Alexandra."

Alex hated that name more than anything. It made him feel sick to his stomach.

It wasn't his fault he was born in that body.

Which he also hated, probably more than his name.

Maybe if he told his friends and family, everything would be easier.

But no, that was a bad idea. What if they hate him? What if the Washington's don't want him anymore? He would go back to the orphanage.

He would lose his friends.

His family.

Everything that he loved.

No.

He couldn't take that risk.

Even if it means being "Alexandra'' for a little longer.

Alex was just too afraid.

"On my way!"

One thing that made him feel more comfortable was that all of his friends were boys. It made him feel at home, like he was a boy too.

On the same hand, the "Revolutionary Crew" didn't have any problems with having a 'girl' in their friend group. They considered her just another dude anyways.

But can you blame them? Alex never actually dresses like a girl normally would.

It's not like he is one, anyways.

"What took you so long, Lex?" John asked. Alex really appreciated the fact that John always called him 'Lex' instead of 'Alexandra', even though John didn't know about 'Alex's secret.'

He was also without a doubt cute.

"Nothing, I just couldn't find my shoes."

"But you always use the same shoes?" Hercules spoke this time. What to say about Mulligan..? He was like another brother to Alex.

"Exactly."
