Bones pov

I was changing Athena when I heard a frantic knock at my door.

"Who is it" I yelled.

"Chris and ricky " they yelled

"Oh my gosh just come in " I yelled back laughing.

Chris and ricky opened the door and ran into the nursery.

"Bones. I have to tell you something that you're going to hate. But if you want to do something about it you have to " ricky said out of breath and freaking out.

"Okay you're worrying me. What is it?" I asked

"Ryans proposing to maggie tonight. In the Forrest. At your favorite spot. You have to stop him " Chris said.

"What ? He's doing what?" I said almost choking. I felt like I was going to pass out. I finished changing the baby and handed her to Chris. I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands. When I came back in Chris and ricky were sitting in the rocking chairs and Chris was holding Athena.

"He can't do that. He's supposed to end up with me. Why is he doing this in my favorite spot. It's where I wanted to get married. He knew that. " I said crying.

"We know" ricky said

"When is he doing it" I asked wiping my tears

"Tonight at six " ricky said

"I have to stop him and tell him he should be with me. Can you please take care of Athena tonight ? " I asked

Chris and ricky nodded. It took about thirty minutes to get there so I had to drive now. I told Chris and ricky where all of the bottles of breast milk were and all of the diapers and to put her to bed in about an hour.

I got in my car and rushed to the Forrest.

When I got there there were roses and rose petals. There were fake candles and a blanket. There was a bottle of champagne and two glasses.

I looked around. There was a note on the blanket. I picked it up and read it

"Step one. Make bones break up with you saying she's not ready.

Step two: lock the door on any future you may have with her.

Step three. Make her jealous with Maggie.

Step four: let it slip to ricky that you're proposing to maggie and knowingly have bones come to the Forrest.

Step five: make her say yes. "

When put the note down and turned around ryan was there on one knee with a rose

I gasped. "You did this. You planned all of this? You manipulated me for months all for me to be your girlfriend again?" I asked crying

"I was about to Come and ruin your engagement and tell you to be with me. But instead I find out its all just a huge trick. Well good job. Because this time I'm really done" I said with tears streaming down my face.

"Bones. " Ryan said while taking my hand "on our first date I knew you would be the girl I would marry. So the day after that first date I went out and bought you something that is inside this rose. I chased after you for almost three years now. Loving you, and telling you how much you mean to me every chance I got. We even have a little kid together. And I couldn't be more proud that she has you as a mother. Bones Lily O'Malley, I will love you for the rest of my life no matter what, but first I need you to answer this question for me,  will you marry me? " Ryan said almost crying

"Yes. Yes I'll marry you" I said picking the ring out of the middle of a rose.

Ryan got off of his knee and kissed me. We ended up banging on the blanket. Later that night we went back to my house and told everyone we were engaged. Maggie and ethan told me they were in on it and so did the motionless boys. Besides ricky. Everyone was eating and laughing and hanging out and everyone was holding Athena and kissing her and feeding her. I was so unbelievably surprised ryan pulled any of this off.
