Long a ago, when this university started. It has become a tradition to have a platinum group to lead the students in this campus. Alongside the Platinum leader must have his own Platinum to guide and support him with all decisions. Thus, they must exchange ties to represent the relationship they both have. Although, not any male student can become a Platinum leader, he must have the qualities of a leader, the social rank and the utmost respect of everyone around him.
I slam the dusty book shut as I sigh. Platinum. Or in an easier case, girlfriend. What made him think that I was Platinum worthy. What's also weird is why he wanted me to become a Platinum. Then I remember what Aunt told me last night over dinner..
...
Flashback of Yesterday's event. Dinner Time.
"Omo! I heard you became the new Platinum of the university, Eun Hee-ah!" says Aunt with a delight look on her face.
My eyes buldge open, "H-How did you know? Is it that big of a deal?!" I panic.
She giggles, "I only found out from Myungsoo. I also heard that Kai was the new Platinum leader as of right now. My, isn't this a twist of fate."
"It's quite surprising how you know so much about these things." I let out a cackle.
"Well of course! Me and Uncle were also Platinum's back in our age." says Aunt, hugging onto Uncle's arm.
"B-Bo?! Really?!" I exclaim aloud.
"Yes. We're the 8th Platinum couple in the campus before It was love in first sight to be honest. So I quickly made her my Platinum without hesitation.." smiles Uncle.
That night. I threw them question by question about their college life. Hoping to get a hint of what's in store for me. From what I heard from the both of them, made me excited that I could actually become a whole lot closer to Kai and fill the empty spaces that we left trailing years ago.
...
As I make my way out of the library, I was met by a tall guy wearing a smirk on his face. I stood frozen like a statue as we made awkward eye contact. It was that Kris guy from the Platinum group.
"So you must be the new Platinum, hm. Not bad I suppose. Well you're not really my type, nor is it my business to go against Jong-in. But whatever, follow me." He leads the way, spinning a basketball with his hand.
D-Did he insult me just now?! As expected from the MVP of the Basketball club, he must be really obnoxious. I roll my eyes as I follow from behind. He led me beyond the skyway bridge that was restricted from the ordinary students and was only exclusive for the Platinum members. only.
The classroom door looked as if it was the Principal's office and as we enter the room, I was surprise that their desks was of a CEO president. The curtains was grand, floor was red velvet and the light above was a chandeleur.
All the members glanced our way, smiling as I approach Kai's desk. "Yo. I brought her here." says Kris as he takes his stand behind Kai.
Kai smiles wickedly at me, his usual cold eyes piercing thru my soul. "How is it? Being acknowledged as a Platinum?"
I clear my throat, hoping to please him with the right answer. "It's great being the Platinum. I get to do things my way and I get to spend more time with you." I crookedly smile at the end.
He snorts, "I see. So that's the case.." Kai pushes a big load of books and notebooks towards me.
I cock my head to the side, "What do I do with these books?"
"Isn't it obvious. You're going to do my homework." He coldly replies.
"H-Homework?" I repeat trying to sync his sentence into my brain.
