Chapter 22 : The Mysterious Island | Part 2

Meanwhile. Kai and Chanyeol's state. 

Chanyeol turns to find himself separated with the rest, and all he had left was Kai who seems rather quiet in such a state they were in. Shit.. What the hell is happening.. What is this island..? Chanyeol thought, his arms crossed as he squints his eyes to look farther ahead the spooky forest. "Yah, Jongin." calls out Chanyeol. But no reply. 

Chanyeol turns to find Kai resting peacefully by the tree, the way he slept didn't seem at all pretentious. Chanyeol, out of annoyance, shakes his shoulders to wake. "Yah! Jongin! Cut the crap and wake up, huh! This is not the time to be sleeping you know! Hello? Tsk!" Chanyeol straightens his back, "Damn it.. Why do I have to be stuck with you of all people.." Chanyeol mutters, walking away from Kai's area. 

It would have been better if I was with Kyungsoo, Lay or Eun Hee. Speaking of her.. Chanyeol paints a worried look, I wonder how she's doing right now.. Who is she stuck with right now? Damn it! I'm so worried! Chanyeol randomly throws a pebble at the bush, "Ouch!" The bush sounded off as it shakes. 

Chanyeol jumps a few inches away from the bush, "A-A talking bush?!" "Huh? What are you talking about?" Suddenly, Eun Hee appears above the bush with an irritated look from that pebble Chanyeol threw just a second ago, "Oh! Chanyeol! It was only you!" Her face softens by the sight of him. 

He quickly embraces her, "Eun Hee-yah! Are you okay?! How did you end up behind that bush. Aiish, I'm so glad you're--" Before Chanyeol could finish such a cheesy line, he pulls away putting up an arrogant look, "I mean, it's great you're fine." Eun Hee continues to stare at Chanyeol, leaving Chanyeol flushing red. "Y-Yah. What are you staring at, huh? Don't tell me you've fallen in love with me, huh?" He smirks. 

Eun Hee laughs, "I just noticed how really handsome you are, Chanyeol." That made Chanyeol's heart thump extremely fast. "W-Well of course! I am Chanyeol Park after all." Eun Hee makes another laugh, holding both of Chanyeol's big warm hands. "Do you want to play a game with me?" Chanyeol raise an awkward brow, "A game? Err, don't you think we should look for the other's first before anything else?" 

"It's alright! It'll be really quick. I promise." She smirks. Chanyeol paints the same face, "I guess a game won't really delay us that much. Okay then. What's the game all about?" Eun Hee pokes him on the chest, jumping back as she does. "It's tag. And you're it, Chanyeol~" 

Chanyeol snorts a laugh, trying to tag her back, but she was just too fast. "You're seriously going to get it once I tag you back." Soon after, they started to chase one another inside the woods, "I-I almost got you, Eun Hee-yah~" said Chanyeol, his arm extended almost an inch away from Eun Hee's back. Before he could tap her back, he was roughly pulled back down the ground. 

His eyes flew open, panting for air to find Kai with a disturbed look on his face. "What's gotten over you, huh?!" shouts Kai, forms of sweat visible on his forehead. "I-I.. Where's Eun Hee?" He looks from side to side. "What are you talking about? We're the only one's here!" 

"W-What.. Then that means that.. I was just hallucinating what I saw?" Chanyeol mutters to himself. "Well, whatever you're hallucinating, it almost brought you to your death. Look." Kai points out a meter away from where they were seated, it was a cliff which seems obvious enough that jagged rocks are waiting below for it's prey. 

Chanyeol shudders at the thought, still so scared to move an inch or make a peep out of his mouth. Only but the breeze was able to make a sound. An eerie sound. 

Meanwhile. Baekhyun and Suho. 

Suho grips onto Baekhyun's polo, "H-H-Hey B-B-Baekhyun.. H-How did get separated from the others.. T-They were just with us a minute ago.." Baekhyun remain in one spot, feeling a deep disturbance coming, not even bothering to reassure Suho that everything was going to be okay. "L-Luhan was right.."
