After three whole days of studying my brain out, I'll be able to use the knowledge I required because today will be the first midterms that I'll ever encounter. A teacher will be coming here in less than one hour to observe us during the exams. I guess even if you're in the Platinum group, you're still a student of this university.
The cake incident was never found out. Since it was too much of a mystery to all of us, Kai decided to place even more security around the dorm.
I haven't had any contact with both Xiumin and Chen for the past days due to the intense studying I've been conducting. I hope that once the midterms are finished, the three of us could eat lunch together or talk about the plans for the incoming fieldtrip. Not only could I have a fun time with them, I could also have a fun time with Kai and as well get closer to the Platinum group.
...
"Time starts now. Please begin with the examination." said the teacher, who in fact looked really young to be teaching. He almost looks as if he was one of the students studying in this university. I shake my head as I started with the test laid in front of me.
Half an hour passed and I was finally at the end of the test. Surprisingly, well not that really a surprise, it was Luhan who finished the test first. In came Kai, Baekhyun, Suho, Me, Kris and Sehun. After the teacher collected our exams, he went to talk to Kai.
"Wow. The teacher really looks young. I wonder what subject he teaches." I whisper. Sehun pops out beside me, "Oh he's no teacher. He's our dean." He grins.
My eyes rounded in surprise, "M-Mwo? D-Dean? That's our dean?!" I moderately shouted at him. He frowns, "Yeah. But don't let his looks deceive you! He's harsher than you think he is! And he's really really smart too! Almost like Luhan and Kai combined."
I clear my throat as I watch 'our dean' leave the room, "What's up, Jongin? What did he say?" ask Suho, constantly looking back at the door.
Kai sighs, "We're going to have to fill in the first and second year students form and file their permission slips from their parents in a folder. Both USB copy and printed copy."
"As expected from our dean, so when's the deadline of this?" questions Kris, spinning his basketball around and around. "After the fieldtrip." replies Kai.
"Aigoo. That dean sure knows how to ruin someone's life. It's clearly impossible to finish it in two days. Does he even know how many first and second years are there?" ask Baekhyun, his face painted with a frown of disappointment.
"It's possible," starts Luhan. We dart our eyes to him, "It's possible to finish it in two days. The down side of it is that we wouldn't have time to roam around the fieldtrip that much." He said as he sharply clicks the enter button on his laptop.
Sehun plops down the couch, hugging one of the pillows there "Where's our destination anyway, Jongin?" "Japan, Hokkaido."
Sehun immediately drops backwards on the couch, "The hotsprings there are great! Argh. Stupid dean and his stupid orders." He continues to whine like a child.
I hesitantly raise my hand, "I-I can do it all." They all shot me a wide eyed look, "All? You're joking right? If you do all of it, there's no way you'd enjoy the fieldtrip."
I shake my head, "N-No! It's really fine if I do it all. I've been meaning to be of some use to the Platinum group anyway. And sorting out files and folders are fun." Well not really fun. But I guess sucking up to Kai isn't such a bad idea either.
Kai snorts a smirk, "Alright then. Finish it by the end of the fieldtrip. Our fieldtrip starts tomorrow anyway. So I hope you finish half by tonight, if you can."
