After the game which ended a 3-2 win for the blackhawks against the bruins. Yesss go team I fangirled with Rachael a bit before telling her about my mom's maybe promotion ( That's officially what I'm calling it till I know for sure she's getting promoted).

"That was an awesome game! Like amazing saves by crow!" She gushed.

"I know and that last goal that Toews scored, amazing!" I said I couldn't help but join her I loved to talk hockey with her, and maybe fangirl about how cute our favorite players where.

"Yes like I thought it wouldn't make it but then it did! I mean I thought it would go into overtime." She said.

"I know me to! But nope they did not want that." I said grinning.

"Nope." She said." I can't believe the penalty they gave Kane for checking. Like seriously that was clearly a clean hit."

"I know! But whatever the refs call is what it is." I said shrugging.

"Unfortunately yes." She said." So what did you want to talk about?" She asked done fantasizing about how good the game was.

"Well my mom may be getting a promotion, I'm calling it the M.M.P. maybe mom's promotion, for short." I said laughing.

"Wow that's awesome I have to say I like the code name M.M.P. has a nice ring to it." She said laughing with me. See crazy moments like these? Yeah this is why she is my best friend.

"I know. I'm so happy for her." I said still giggling.

"Yeah, before you know it it will be just the M.P. the mom promotion." She said smiling.

"I hope so she seemed really excited about it." I said.

"I'm sure she'll get the promotion I mean she's has been working with them for a while now." She said gently punching my arm.

"Yeah my thoughts exactly." I said punching her back.

"Yep definetely." I said still laughing."Where are your parents?" I asked they probably thought we where nuts if they could hear us.

"Oh they're away for the weekend I forgot to tell you." She said." So we can be as crazy as we like." She said doing an evil laugh." You wanna stay the night?" She asked.

"Sure!" I said I loved spending the night with Rachael we had the most fun." Can we go skating tommorow?" I asked looking at her with puppy eyes.

"Fine, I knew you would ask that." She said laughing.

"Of course you know me skating is my thing." I said pretending to be sassy.

"Yep, 100% Canadian for sure." She said laughing.

"Wellll what should we do it's only 10:00?" She asked.

"Hmmm I have nooo idea. Wait when is the rink open to?" I asked late night skating would be so fun.
