Chapter 7

We got up and walked to the car. He put his bag in the back, and hopped in.

"You want to go for ice cream quick?" He asked me before pulling out.

"Sure!." I said. I just had ice cream yesterday, but it wouldn't hurt you can never have to much ice cream am I right?

"Okay." He said.

"Have you ever had homemade snow ice cream?" I asked I made it all the time, when it snowed of course.

"Yes, I love it." He said.

"Really? Me to! Whenever it snows I stock up on snow so I'll have plenty." I said.

"Wow, I've never done that, but good idea." He said.

"Yeah."

"Have you been here?" He asked pulling into a hole at the same place I went with Rachael yesterday.

"Yes, I actually came here after the game yesterday with Rachael." I said.

"Really? Cool." He said. Then under his breath he muttered." I guess I should've listened to Kaner."

I guessed Kane had suggested it to him last night.

"What do you normally get?" I asked him.

"I get a waffle cone with strawberry cheesecake ice cream." He said, which believe it or not was my favorite also. I love cheesecake.

"Me to!" I said smiling.

"Cool! So now I know what to get you." He said smirking.

"Ugh this again just let me pay." I said pretending to be exasperated. Although I found it kinda cute.

"Nope." He said popping the p.

I knew I would never win so I just let him pay. He ordered two strawberry cheesecake waffle cones and payed. He handed me mine when it was ready and took his.

"Thanks." I said taking a lick.

"Your welcome." He said smiling.

We walked over to an empty bench and even though it was freezing out we ate our ice cream in the cold. We talked some and I had a really good time. I felt like I could be myself around him and it was nice. Around Jacob near the end I felt as if I had to be someone different to please him. He dropped me off at my house and I said goodbye. I waved and he drove off leaving me standing in my driveway. I stood there for a few seconds replaying the amazing night.

I went inside and went to my room to get ready for bed. I don't know why I even brought my phone anywhere I rarely ever used it, now I probably had a million missed texts from Rachael. I turned on my phone and of course I had some from Rachael. I tapped on it.

Rachael: The date was amazing!

Rachael: Where are you? I didn't think you had plans tonight.

Rachael: Emmmaaaaa

Rachael: WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU???

Me: Hey I'm glad to hear it was amazing I was out.

Rachael: Out? Doing what?

Me: With Jonathan ;)

Rachael: Again twice in one day!

Me: Yeah, but I doubt I'll really ever see him

Rachael: Mhm he so likes you though!

Me: Yeah i'm not so sure. So the date was good?

Rachael: Yes! He's so cute and we talked and had such a good time!
