Chapter 4

"Good morning sunshine." Rachael sang.

"What?" I muttered rubbing my eyes and sitting up.

"You slept over remember?" She asked giving me a funny look.

"Yes." I said sleepily." What time is it anyway?" I groaned stretching my arms out and throwing the covers off my leg.

"It's 11:00 darling, you have been sleeping forever." She said folding her Pj's and putting them in her drawer.

"Already? Wow I really overslept." I said suprised it was that late already.

"Yep someone did." She said.

"Yeah. Wait today's the game." I said jumping out of bed.

"Yes looks like someone's awake now." Rachael said laughing at me.

"Hey what I'm just excited." I said. I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom to put them on. I came back out and handed Rachael her Pj's back.

"Thanks." She said taking them and putting them away."Did you have any trouble with your brace?" She asked.

"Nah not really these yoga pants can just slip over it." I said.

"Oh that's good. So what are we doing today? The game's at 7:00." She said.

"Umm well first off I need to change for tonight obviously, and I don't know probably work on some homework." I said I was not wearing fricking yoga pants to a hockey game no way.

"Okay, sounds better then my plans oh wait I don't have any." She said laughing.

"Wow great." I said laughing with her.

"What about we go shopping together?" She suggested.

"Uhh I guess after we go to my house to pick up some things." I said. I love going shopping with Rachael even though we never bought anything we had fun trying things on. Homework could totally wait till tomorrow.

"Okay!" She said super hyper for some reason." Let's go get some breakfast."

"Yumm I'm so hungry." I said as if on que my stomach grumbled.

"Yeah says the person who slept how late. I've been awake a lot longer then you." She said.

"Yeah but you could've made yourself some breakfast." I said shrugging.

"Well excuse me for trying to be nice and wait for you." She said acting offended.

"Whatever let's go." I said going down the stairs.

She beat me down them of course and she went into the kitchen getting some eggs out of the fridge.

"Scrambled eggs and bacon sound good?" She asked me pulling out some bacon.

"Umm yes!" I said." You know that's my favorite."

"Of course I do." She said winking.

I rolled my eyes and helped her get breakfast ready. She scrambled the eggs while I cooked the bacon. I let the bacon cook and went to get out the plates and of course syrup. I mean who doesn't love some syrup on their bacon?

"The eggs are done." Rachael said bringing the pan over from the stove and putting the eggs on both plates.

"They look good." I said my mouth started watering at the delicious smell of the bacon and eggs."The bacon is almost done." I said flipping it.

"Okay, it better be done soon otherwise the poor eggs will get cold." She said covering them with a towel so they would stay warm.

"Okay I think It's done." I said I brought the pan over to the plates and put two pieces on each plate. I set the pan in the sink and took a seat on a bar stool.
