"Drew, take the pregnant women and the children to the safe room" Braxton ordered me. We are under attack by the Lokoti that have been threatening us, along with Boris I'm sure. "Okay, I love you" I told him and kissed him briskly "I love you too, stay in the safe room until I get back" I nodded my head and watched him leave with all the other warriors, a silent tear fell from my eye but I quickly wiped it away and rushed to the pack end of the castle
I quickly gathered all of the women and children and started to lead them to the safe room. "Everyone be quiet" I commanded them in a soft voice, immediately the room was dead silent. I could hear everyone's heart beating rapidly, my nerves were shot and I was scared for my mate and for my pack.
I started to hear a commotion outside of the room, I had no defense against anyone who could try to hurt us. I couldn't shift and I had no magic since my demon side was shut off. I decided to just not think about it, I have some warriors outside of the safe room just in case, so I started to think about earlier this morning.
I woke up with Braxton back in control "Good morning" I breathed out "Morning, my love" he kissed my cheek. I sat up in bed and walked to the bathroom, I used the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Braxton was still in bed when I walked out.
I changed into something more comfortable and went to sit beside Braxton, who was still laying in bed, he placed a hand on my belly and rubbed it gently "I have a bad feeling about today" he told me "Everything will be fine" I assured him and ran my fingers through his hair softly
A Loud banging on the door brought me out of my thoughts. I had no idea what to do, no one in this room could fight because they are too young or too pregnant, I had a risky thought. I wrapped my fingers around my ring 'Please, don't harm her, she's full Lycan, no demon in her, please' I begged my demon and yanked the ring off
An immediate rush of blood lust washed over me and my demon side took control of me, the banging on the door became louder "I need blood from someone" I announced to the group "I won't hurt you, it's either give me blood or you all die" I told them and a brave teenager approached me with her wrist out, I dove in and drank her blood quickly, just enough to access my magic "Thank you" I smiled meekly at her and braced myself for the people who were banging on the door,
