28. Epilouge

"Mommy! Mommy!!" I heard Davyna shout while running to me
"Yes princess?" I asked her, swooping her up into my arms
"D says I'm not going to become queen!" She pouted, me and Braxton have already discussed who would become king or queen next
"Now, you all three have just of an equal chance at becoming king or queen" I smiled at her, Darius came running in once I said that
"I told her that I'm going to find my mate first!" He stuck his tongue out at her
"Darius! Put that tongue right back into your mouth!" I snapped at him
"Sorry, mommy" he looked down sheepishly, the triplets were now 5 turning 6 soon
"Mommy..." I heard Maverick from behind me, I turned around to look at him
"Yes baby?" I asked him
"Baby woke up" he pouted, he was still the smallest out of the three, but he was still capable of the same things
"Okay, thanks Maverick" I put down Davyna and walked up to my room, through the closet and to the nursery, it was the same nursery that the triplets had, but with 2 less of everything. A crying baby was in the middle of the room in her crib
"What's wrong Athena?" I asked my six week old baby, she instantly quieted down when I began to feed her.

I used this mommy wrap thing to hold her while I go and make the kids lunch. It's Saturday and they will be going to school on Monday, and I'm nervous to say the least, they've never been out of my sight for more than 30 minutes, and even though the school is only 5 minutes away, I'm still kinda nervous.

"What do you kiddos want?" I asked them, they were sitting at the bar waiting for me to cook them lunch
"Grilled cheeeeeseeee" Darius suggested, drawing out the word 'cheese'
"Yes!" Davyna agreed
"Do you want grilled cheese, Maverick?" I asked him, he was holding his baby blanket, he just nodded.

He's always been the shy one, since he's so different he gets a lot of curious glances and stares. But the other two love him and play with him as if he was any other kid their age. I started to make lunch for them, I looked down at Athena, her bright blue eyes were staring up at me in wonder. I kissed her softly and her eyes fluttered shut for a moment.

I heard a squeal of laughter from Davyna
"Daddy!" She cried, I turned around to see Braxton holding Davyna and spinning her around. He placed her back down in her seat and kissed the two boys' heads.
"Hello love," he smiled at me and kissed my cheek from being me, his hands placed firmly on my waist 
"Hey" I mused flipping over the sandwich
"How's this one doing?" He asked me while playing with Athenas hand with his finger.
"She just woke up" I told him
"Mmhm" he hummed staring at our daughter
"I missed you today" I confessed to him
"I missed you too" he smiled against my skin
"How much work do you have left?" I asked him
"Just maybe another hour" he told me solemnly I nodded and finished the kids lunch

They all three ate what I made them while I ate just a simple assortment of fruits that consisted of; watermelon, honeydew, and strawberries.
"Mommy" Darius asked me
"Yes baby?" I asked him
"When will Uncle T be back?" He asked me

Talon went on his first search for his mate when the triplets were first born, he was gone for a year and a half mostly because he started training with each pack and learning from each one. He's now on his second search and he's told me he has finally found her, her name is Evelyn and from what I heard she is very beautiful. He found her at the Evergreen Pack, she was an omega, that's all I really know.

"He should be here tomorrow to eat breakfast with you" I told him
"Okay!" He smiled and continued eating his grilled cheese.
"Uncle Xay!" I heard Maverick say as Xavier walked in with his mate, Tessa. After Tessa's original mate mated with another her and her family moved to this pack and she found her second chance mate, Xavier. Xavier's first mate died after 6 months of them finding each other. They looked really cute together and I'm glad the moon goddess blessed them with another to share eternity with.

Maverick jumped into Xavier's arms and began giggling as Xavier tickled him. Tessa came beside me and stole a strawberry
"Hey!" I protested
"Baby was hungry" she grinned and patted her baby bump, she's 4 months pregnant with a baby girl
"Then get your own strawberries" I grouched
"So grouchy" she huffed, I just grinned at her and finished eating my fruit and washed the dishes.

I stayed in my office for the rest of the day until one hour after sundown. Xavier and Tessa kindly watched over the triplets and I kept Athena with me as I worked since she mostly just slept all day anyways.

"Goodnight my Princess" I kissed Davyna's head as I tucked her in. And left her room, going to the boys' room. They shared a room because Maverick gets scared sleeping alone sometimes.

"Goodnight my littlest wolves" Maximus told the boys as they started to fall asleep
"Max, what a lovely surprise" I grinned as he left their room, he kissed me quickly and pulled back
"I missed having quality time with my mate and our pups" he smirked at me.
"I'm glad you made an appearance" I smiled cheekily and went across the hall to our room.

I stepped in the shower cleaning the days wear off of my body.
"I love how you react with my wolf" Braxton said seductively into my ear from behind me
"I love how you love it" I smiled and turned around to wash the shampoo from my hair, locking eyes with Braxton, never breaking eye contact.

His eyes raked up and down my body and he licked his lips, his canines out. He pulled me to his chest and kissed my deeply, his hands gripping my hips tightly and mine around his neck playing with the wet locks that fell at the nape.

We eventually got out and dried off, I changed into one of Braxton's tshirts with no pants on. I slipped under the covers and was immediately pulled to a hard chest.
"Goodnight, little wolf" Braxton mumbled into my ear as I drifted asleep.
