It was now four days after Braxton confessed to me, and i was convinced he was sleeping when he told me, so i never brought it up. Evie left two days ago, but i was not lonely. No, now i have my brother back to keep me company in this lonely castle. With Braxton off training for becoming king, Aiden off always teaching the warriors, and Andrea always away with her friends from Braxton's pack. I did use to feel very lonely, but thankfully Talon is here to accompany me.
Right now me and Talon were running in our wolf forms to go to our old spot were we used to go all the time. We finally stopped by the small pond that was iced over and a small layer of snow covered the dead grass. We both shifted back behind different trees and put on the clothes that we carried with us. I had dark blue jeans, a black shirt with a red flannel over it and a black beanie to keep my ears warm. I was finishing lacing up my skates when I hard a loud thud and a groan of pain, I tied the final bow and came from behind the tree to see Talon laying on the ie with a look of pain etched in his features
I chuckled and went over to help him, almost slipping in the process. Before Boris took him we used to come out here most days and either swim in the warm months or ice skate in the cold months. Where we live we have two warm months and ten cold months, it never really bothered me because I love to cold. We skated around for a few hours, the forest carried our laughs and giggles throughout the rather quiet biome. Talon was beginning to get hungry, and so was I, so we decided to go back home. But of course, me being Drew, I slipped on the ice and my head banged against the ice, I groaned in pain and Talon helped me up.
On the way back we walked through the newest wing of the castle, I got curious stares, but there was one that stood out to me. A girl, around my age gave me envious and dirty looks as I walked through the wing.
"Excuse me, why are you looking at me like that?" I asked her "I was just checking out my replacement" she shrugged
"Sorry?" I asked, quite confused.
"Before you came along, and whisked Braxton away, I was his chosen luna" she smirked at me, I hate to admit it, but she was quite beautiful, dark blonde hair, beautiful brown eyes and a nice figure. But her words stung a little
"I don't care that you were Braxton's ex, that is in the past." I told her
"So when he left, after he already met you, and then came home to me, that's in the past?" She smirked, so when Braxton left me for the first time, he went into someone else's bed? it still didn't bother me but it still did sting
"I bet the reason he hasn't mated with you yet is he cant get over the way we used to make love" she sneered
"No, you're wrong" I shook my head viciously
"Am I? Why don't you ask him? Ask him about all the time in bed together, and all the times he's told me he loved me, ask him about Kennedy, I am sure his eyes will light up and a smile will form on his lips." She smirked and then walked away, my head was beginning to spin
