"Hey you dork, you ready?" Charlie's voice comes from outside Dean's bedroom, as Dean finishes putting on his trainers. "Yeah," he shouts out to her, she walks in wearing blue skinny jeans and a striped off-the-shoulder shirt, she holds her arms out as if she's performing. "Have I convinced you that I rule the world yet?" She grins as she eyes up Dean's outfit - a black shirt and trousers with a blue tie. She nods in approval, but adds a note as they leave the room, "Axe the tie," he sighs as he takes it off, and stands in front of Charlie. She shrugs sarcastically and leans forward to undo the top button of his shirt. "There," she says grinning at him. "Let's go." They decided amongst themselves to walk, as Dean's was only 15 minutes away, "let's make a deal," Charlie says through a mouthful of the chips she took from Dean's pantry, "If we haven't got laid by different girls by 11:30, we go back to yours?"
"What if we're having fun?" Dean replies.
"Uhm, then..." she doesn't seem to have a reply. "Okay, when we're done there. Go back to yours, and rendezvous there? Oh and if the other person doesn't show up, they get roasted and beaten up tomorrow?" Dean nods in agreement, and takes a few of Charlie's chips, she hits him. "Nerd." She says it so Dean can still hear and he jokingly nudges her.

When they arrive at Gabriel's house, there are a lot of guests already there, even though Dean and Charlie are quite early, they get onto the porch and hover in the doorway, suddenly less confident than they had been on the way up. They're standing awkwardly for about 5 minutes, when Gabriel approaches them from behind. "Hi Dean!" Dean smiles at the only familiar face. "This must be Charlie," he shakes her hand, causing her to grin. They hear a playful scream behind them, and look around, to see Ellen's daughter, Jo and some younger kid playing with the hosepipes. Jo sees Charlie and offers a coy smile in her direction, causing Charlie to blush, however she doesn't pursue Jo and instead turns back to Dean and Gabriel, "it's okay," Dean says with a grin, "go get her." Charlie grins at him, thanks him, and jogs off in the direction of Jo. They watch her run off, and as Dean turns back to Gabriel, who asks him if he wants a drink, Dean nods, and Gabriel replies, "my brother, Castiel, is in the kitchen, tell him I sent you, and that you wanna know where the drinks are. Okay?" Dean nods to acknowledge his understanding of what he'd been told to do, and starts toward the kitchen.

Castiel, stands behind a breakfast bar pouring generous amounts of vodka into red cups, he looks up and sees Dean and smiles, he has a nice smile, black hair and blue eyes, like bright blue. "You look lost, did Gabe send you?" Dean nods, disoriented. "Okay, I'll just take these drinks in and sort yours out. Cool?" Dean nods again, as Castiel departs with the cups full to the brim with various vodka cocktails. When he returns, he has several empty cups, which he deposits in the trash can, he approaches Dean. "So, what can I get you?"
"Oh, erm..." Dean hesitates.
"Hey, are you okay?" Dean looks at him.
"Oh yeah, I just don't feel great,"
"You haven't had a drink yet." Castiel isn't mocking him, he seems more concerned.
"I know, I haven't felt great all day really, I don't know if it's nerves, and I'm sorta claustrophobic, and it's hot." Castiel looks at him, but not with pity,
"Then why don't we make ourselves comfortable outside?" Dean agrees, "Do you want a drink?" Dean nods again, and politely requests a rum and coke.

When they get outside, they sit on the artificial grass and slowly sip their drinks, "you feel a bit better yet?" Castiel asks him, Dean nods, and savours the mouthful of his rum and coke. "Good," Castiel replies, "So, you're the guy Anna cheated on?" Dean stumbles on his words and tries to find a suitable answer, Castiel realises his awkwardness and bails him out. "Oh. It's cool dude, I wasn't criticising you. I just wanted to know why she'd do that." Dean looks at him thankfully and smiles.
"You'd better get back to your party. I don't want to keep you from your guests."
"Ah no, it's cool. I'd rather hang with you than these losers. Truth be told, I don't like most of them. They're not as smart as me and you. Oh and also, we're spending the next four years together at Yale, so, I'd rather get to know you better. You want another drink?"

They remain sat on the grass drinking alcohol for about three hours, until people start to clear out, saying their goodbyes to Castiel, and leaving, Charlie, was going to leave with Jo, but Castiel, insisted they could stay, and 'use' his room. By 1:30 the only people remaining, were Charlie, Jo, Gabriel, Castiel and Dean, when Dean asked where Anna had ended up Castiel told him that she'd probably found someone else to cheat on. After Dean drained his 5th rum and coke, (it had taken him an hour to drink the last one,) both he and Castiel were drunk, but they weren't running manically around the garden, but remained seated. It wasn't long before the alcohol had started to get to Dean, and he decided to lie on the grass and look up at the stars, to distract himself from the feeling that he was going to throw up any second. Castiel saw him and lay next to him, the music that had been playing, throughout the party, had reached the stage of the night where it was more calm tunes, and as they were lying down, one of Dean's favourite songs came on. Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. His quiet singing made Castiel smile slightly and join in. "If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world." They both turn their heads so they're looking in each others' eyes. Dean abruptly breaks the eye contact, when he stands, with great urgency, "Uhm. Where's your, bathroom? I don't feel great,"
"Ah," Castiel guides him quickly, almost at a jog, past Gabriel in the kitchen, and past Castiel's bedroom, where Charlie and Jo are heard quietly talking. They make it to the bathroom in time, and Dean slumps against the bath, Castiel lingering by the door. "I'm sorry, for having to do this," Dean says awkwardly,
"What? Throw up? It's normal." Castiel smiles, not sympathetically, but in a caring manner. Dean tries to smile back, but has to lean over the toilet bowl and witness the reappearance of all five rum and cokes he drank. Castiel walks into the bathroom, as Dean is throwing up, and puts a hand on his back, rubbing it gently. As Dean finishes he continually apologises, as Castiel, insists that it was no problem and can be easily rectified. Dean rests him arm on the edge of the bowl and his forehead on his arm, as the sound of Castiel's bedroom door opening, and Jo and Charlie apparently kissing each other goodbye, stops him from falling asleep he slumps against the bathtub, and groans. Which seems to alert Charlie, as she shows up in the bathroom doorway. "Ugh well, you look like shit," the smile Dean summons is only small, and doesn't last long, as he starts to throw up again, Castiel retaking his position, starts to rub his back again. "We should get you home." Castiel says as Dean comes back against the bath. "Will your parents mind if you're like this," Charlie answers for him. "They left for Tenerife after graduation, just, us and Sam."
"Why are you there?" Not ungratefully, just curiously.
"My mom died, and my dad left, so I moved in here." Castiel looks at her awkwardly,
"sorry,"
"It's cool,"
"Okay, shall we get him back then?" Charlie nods and helps Castiel support Dean, who is half passed out.

It takes longer to get home, with Dean in the condition he is, but when they do, Castiel, brings Dean in and he and Charlie help to get him to bed, where he falls asleep instantly. As Charlie goes back downstairs to get Dean a glass of water, Castiel picks up his Dean's phone, and adds his contact to it, and writes a note on a post-it, and puts it on the dresser. He bids Charlie goodnight, and heads home. On her way back upstairs from shutting the house up, she takes a full pack of aspirin, and looks in on Sam, and has to tell him to put his PlayStation away and get to sleep. She puts the aspirin next to Dean's water, and goes into the spare room, thinking of how bad of a headache Dean was going to have in the morning.
