10 minutes later they were all getting into the car, in their way to pick up Jess, "Sam?" Dean asks into the back of the car, "do you think we should take Cas to Pollie's?"
"Yes!" Says Sam eagerly.
"Pollie's," he says, now addressing Castiel, "was Sam's favourite place as a kid. And it's where he met Jess." They pull up outside to get a table, while Sam goes to get Jess.
The inside of Pollie's diner, is typical retro diner, with 50s jukeboxes scattered around, with playlists made of Elvis Presley songs and other old jems. The walls are red, with red and white checked, tile floors and multiple red booths and white tables, with plastic tablecloths decorated with a giant map of the world. Pollie, a plump woman with black hair wearing a gingham swing dress, and a white apron, approaches them with a grin on her face. "Well what a surprise to see you here!" She has a kind voice, and seems like someone who could hug you to death. "And what a coincidence. Your, favourite booth just happens to be empty." Dean grins at her, and goes to sit in his booth, Castiel follows them almost cautiously, and is about to sit down, when Sam and Jess come running in, holding hands. "Hi Pollie!" They say it in frantic unison, and run to the booth. They climb over the table, so they are sat opposite each other next to the window. Pollie chuckles as Dean and Castiel slide in next to Sam, and Charlie next to Jess. "And who is your new friend?" Castiel introduces himself, and Pollie talks again. "Well hello Castiel. What will you be wanting today?"
"Er, coffee and the egg on toast please."
"The rest of ya'll want your usual?" They all nod with big grins on their faces.
Five minutes later, Pollie approaches the table, with the first three plates, Jess' blueberry pancakes, Sam's egg sandwich, Charlie's cheese muffin, it only takes her about 30 seconds to return with Dean's sausage, egg and bacon and Castiel's egg and toast. It's around 9 by the time they finish and start on their way, bidding goodbye to Pollie, and waiting for Sam and Charlie to go back to get another coffee to take out. After Charlie calls shotgun before Sam, Castiel or Jess, she sits there with a triumphant look on her face all the way to New Haven. Castiel spends a majority of the journey talking to Sam and Jess, who got very exited when Dean found his old Lynyrd Skynyrd album, and played Sweet Home Alabama, over again. At one point Dean overhears something Sam says while he's talking to Castiel. "Yeah, well, Dean could probably tell you, exactly what the inside of our Principal's office looks like." Dean grins, and jokingly starts explaining the furnishings, "Well, it had green walls," which made everyone laugh. Sam continues, "Did you ever get sent to the principal Cas?" Cas shakes his head,
"No, none of them ever figured out it was me," inducing more laughter.
"Seriously, though Cas," Dean calls into the back seat, "You've never been busted at school?"
"No," he says it thoughtfully, as if he's thinking about whether he has. "I always blamed it on Anna." The laughter is continued.
"How is Anna?" Charlie asked into the back,
"Er, yeah, good."
"I saw her at your party," Charlie continues, then she flicks her hair over her shoulder in an overdramatic way, "she stole my hair," the laughter returns.

By the time they get to New Haven, it's around lunchtime, Dean parks the car around the corner, and the group of them, enter the prestigious gates of Yale University. They admire the professional brickwork and architecture, in complete awe. A voice from behind alerts them, "welcome to Yale." They turn in unison, and a male and a female stand behind them, the male has dark skin and died blonde hair, wearing a tight shirt and white skinny jeans, showing off his tanned ankles. The girl is also dark skinned, darker than her partner, and she has black hair and wears a cashmere cardigan with a grey skirt and tights with an over-expressive pattern. "Are you here for the open day?" Cas answers on behalf of all of them. "Me, Dean and Charlie are, Sam and Jess are just tagging along, can they come with us?"
"Course!" Says the girl in her surprisingly low voice, "The more the merrier! There's a presentation in 10 minutes, I'll lead the way. Follow me!" They obey her and eventually end up in a huge lecture hall, with a couple of hundred people already in there, they sit in the middle, all in a row, and look around, the walls are all beautiful brick patterns and a luxurious ceiling, it truly is a sight to behold.
The professor is a tall man, with beard and wearing a tweed suit and a green fez. He looks around at the people before him, at varieties of ages, and smiled. "So, welcome to Yale, I'm the main professor of World History, so if you have any questions on what made Hitler a douche, I'm your man." A few subtle laughs around the room. "Obviously here at Yale, there isn't just History courses. There are all sorts." His presentation continues and all five of the group, sit in awe listening intently.
