Dean had heard of Lucifer before, of course he had. Everyone had, even Sam and heard stories, despite their father trying so hard to avoid them knowing anything about him. The most common rumour was that he had a major disagreement and their dad booted him out, and after that he became evil. Dean heard someone say at the lockers once that he'd killed people, and he never imagined being one of the people that had to be related to him. He doesn't say anything about Lucifer to Castiel, instead they sit together, Cas crying silently while Dean comforts him. Cas is the first to talk. "I don't know how long he plans to stay," Dean's reply comes almost without a second thought,
"Yeah, well you can stay here until he leaves if you want."
"Will your dad mind?" Dean sighs.
"No." He smiles slightly. "He let Charlie in didn't he?" Cas chuckles slightly, but it's hard to tell that it's a chuckle as it mixes with his sobs.
"Thank you Dean." Dean doesn't reply, instead continues to hold Cas close to his chest.

They must fall asleep at some point because Dean wakes up at around 9:15, and Cas is lying on him sleeping soundly. Dean tries to stretch to grab his water but can't reach, and when his phone starts to ring next to him, he answers it before it gets louder. It is his dad,
"Hey Dean. Sorry to tell you this, but the planes have stopped, we won't be able to get one 'till tomorrow so we'll be an extra few days." Dean tells him that it's fine, and proceeds to inform him quietly, about what happened with Cas.
"Yeah sure he can stay." John's simple answer was enough to content Dean. As they say their goodbyes and Dean hangs up the phone, Cas starts moving, causing Dean to look at him. Dean watches him slowly wake up, and smiles comfortingly at him, Cas returns the favour and sits up, rubbing his eyes, and putting his hand to his head. Dean suddenly remembers the full events from the previous night and departs to get Cas some aspirin. He returns with the aspirin, and leaves Cas alone while he goes to make coffee. Charlie and Sam are already up and are making pancakes. Dean tells them about the plane delay, and also the events of the previous night, although, as he's in the presence of Sam, says 'family trouble' and gives Charlie a 'I'll fill you in later,' look. Sam informs Dean that he Is going to Jess' for the day while Charlie decides to go out and spend her pay check on computer games. After they depart Cas comes and sits next to Dean at the kitchen table. And Dean suggests a movie day, which makes Cas more than grateful as he doesn't have to do anything.

Dean gathers an abundance of food while Cas chooses some movies, and they sit down to watch their first one. Cas picks 'Titanic' and looks at Dean and says, "guilty pleasure," causing Dean to look bemused as he didn't believe that 'Titanic' would be anyone else's guilty pleasure other than him.
They position themselves comfortably around 15cm apart, divide their food into bowls and sit back as Dean plays the movie.
By the end of the film they both sit on the couch with tears streaming down their cheeks and their mouths slightly open. Cas looks sideways at Dean and smiles timidly at him. Dean smiles back. Cas crawls towards Dean armed with a tissue and wipes the tears away from Dean's eyes. Their closeness now is almost touching as they look straight into each other's eyes. Dean notices that Cas' eyes were a similar shade of blue to the sea, and they shone in the dim lighting of the room. While Cas observes Dean's bright green eyes, and their look of curious beauty. Almost as if you can't put your finger on what makes them so beautifully. If Cas hadn't of seen them, he wouldn't know that it is possible for two humans to produce a child with such perfect eyes. Dean smiles timidly and Cas notices the perfection of his lips, and how like his eyes, look like they've been carved by angels. They look at each other for a while longer, and it isn't until Dean blinks that they are knocked out of their trance. Dean looks at the food on the table and goes to reach some but knocks it on the floor. Cas lets out a humorously sarcastic sigh and they both bend down to pick the pieces up. They rummage around the floor and place the popcorn back in its box, Cas picks a piece up and looks at it. It was smaller than the other pieces and Cas almost felt sorry for it. Then, realising he is pitying a piece of popcorn, holds it up to Dean who opens his mouth. Cas places it gently on Dean's tongue and Dean swallows it. They regain their eye contact as they had before, and stare into each other's eyes. They both know what's coming, but they don't know who should start them off. Dean goes in for the kiss first. He leans slowly closer and closer to Cas' face and after a few tense moments, he fixes his lips to Castiel's. Cas joins in with the kiss and Dean lifts up his hand and puts it on Cas' back, who does the same in return.

Dean had kissed before but never like this, they both feel the softness of the others lips as the kiss continues. As they break away they look at each other again and smile. Dean stands up, pulling Cas up with him, and pulls him back in for another kiss, as they stop to get up the stairs, when they reach the upstairs corridor they start to kiss again, and Dean's hand goes to Cas' back again, but this time under his shirt. Cas grins into their kiss and leads Dean into his bedroom, they continue to kiss each other as Dean shuts the door with his foot.
