"Y/N," Jason breathed out shakily. "Keep your eyes open. Stay with me babe."

Your body felt weak. You barely move, barely think as all you wanted to do was close your eyes and fall asleep. But you knew you couldn't do that. The pain that once flooded through your body from where you were stabbed was gone now, and you knew that that wasn't a good sign.

Jason clutched your body tight as he flew through the air to get back to the Argo II. "Stay with me, Y/N. We're almost there I promise."

You breathed out lightly. "It doesn't hurt anymore, Jase."

Jason's breath hitched and you couldn't see it, but his eyes were beginning to water as he knew that the pain subsiding was definitely not a good sign. He willed himself to fly faster, holding onto you for dear life.

There was nothing more your body wanted to do than close your eyes. Gods, it felt like you hadn't slept in a year and this was your only chance at some shut-eye. Everything around you was bright, your eyes were beginning to strain and you unwillingly slowly closed them, opening them right back up as Jason shook you.

"Stay awake, Y/N. Gods, Y/N please stay awake." Jason pleaded, and you nodded weakly.

"I love you," You reminded him, feeling sleepier by the second.

You felt a wet droplet on your bare arm.

Jason spoke through his nerves. "You aren't dying Y/N. See, I can see the Argo II now. Don't you want to see everyone? Just stay awake for a few more minutes Y/N."

You nodded once again and felt Jason land on the ground, yelling for help from your fellow crew members. Everything went fuzzy around you, and you felt your fingers and toes start to tingle. You were laid down somewhere, and you could feel your shirt being cut open as who you guessed was Coach Hedge got to his healing action.

Jason didn't even realize there was blood in his hands. He ran those bloodied hands through his hair, unknowingly leaving streaks of red in his blonde hair. At a loss for words, he stood and watched with tears flooding down his cheeks as the love of his life laid limp on the table. Annabeth, Hazel, and Coach Hedge frantically worked on saving you and all Jason could do was stare hopelessly.

"Jason," You mumbled, reaching your arm up although you couldn't see him. "Jason."

He rushed over at the call of his name and encased your cold hand in his warm ones, looking at your weary eyes.

"Do you think we'll ever get married?" You said weakly, taking deep but shallow breaths.

Jason laughed lightly, even though he was crying. "Of course. Everyone will be there, and you'll look amazing like you always do. And I'll look at you and wonder how on earth I got so lucky to be with the most precious person on the planet. And we'll both say I do. And we'll kiss like we've never kissed before. And I'll tell you I love you, because I do, Y/N. I love you."

You could barely smile but somehow you did, streaks of tears running down your cheeks. "I love you, but I think I have to go."

"We're losing her!" Annabeth called out and the three began to work frantically, Jason's eyes widening.

"No, Y/N, please-"Jason begged, and you sighed.

"I love you." You whispered again, and he immediately rushed to your face, giving you the most passionate kiss he ever gave you.

You smiled at him before your eyes fluttered shut, Annabeth, Coach Hedge, and Hazel beginning to work even faster as Piper (with the muscular help of Percy) guided Jason back from your dying body.

"No," he sobbed, his voice shaking. "Y/N, please, stay awake. Stay awake for me Y/N, please. I need you, Y/N."

He went to move forward to grab you in his arms, to protect you and hold you as tight as he could. Percy stopped him, putting a hand on his chest.

"You have to stay back, Grace. You have to let them do what they can to save Y/N." Percy spoke calmly, but Jason ignored him as he looked over his shoulder to the limp body of his true love.

Lighting crackled through the air, Jason absentmindedly causing a storm outside the ship through his anger and depression. He couldn't hear the words the others were saying, his mind was spinning.

You couldn't die. He refused to acknowledge it. He should've flown faster. He should protected you from being stabbed by that monster. He should've been able to save you.

He watched as Annabeth, Hazel, and Coach Hedge's work came to a hesitant stop. His breath hitched, a deafening high pitched ring sounding through his ears. They turned to him with sorrow looks, and he couldn't move from his spot, frozen in his place.

The love of his life was gone.

Y/N was dead.
