I run down the river a bit but the wolves follow me. One of them howls loudly. There is no way I'm getting back on mutt territory while they are watching. I jump about thirty feet when I hear low growls from behind me. I look behind me and I begin running. There are way too many wolves for me to fight them off still and there is no way I'm jumping over the river. They brought almost ten wolves to get me.
They must be getting tired of me.
While running I don't look back once. I can hear the sounds of thumping and twigs snapping. They are close behind. I don't get how they could sneak up on me. My hearing is amazing, I guess the river was too loud and I was too focused on the other wolves. That white wolf definitly sold me out! What an asshole!
The wolves across the way are pretty slow so I decide to try hopping over to the other side. I go to hop over but one of the wolves uses his teeth to drag me back. I whine trying to get away but two of the wolves jump on me holding me down.
"Shift." The dark brown wolf from the river growls after shifting. He has wavy dark brown hair that stops at his shoulders and dark blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a moon under his right eye.
I whine out but I don't shift. I have no chance of getting away if I shift.
"SHIFT!" He yells making me whimper.
I shift and both wolves get off of me. Everyone shifts and basically stares at me. I lean up pulling my legs up to my chest. I look down at my leg, it's bleeding badly and it hurts so bad. Whoever bit me, bit me deeply.
I watch as the white wolf shifts. He has messy pure blonde hair and stunning light blue eyes. I watch as he pulls on a tight black shirt and blue skinny jeans.
He laughs, "This is the one who has been tormenting you guys for almost seven months now."
Everyone bows their heads when they see him. I wonder who he is.
I look up and I almost smile.
"It's an eighteen-year-old girl." The guy with messy blonde hair says almost laughing.
I look up, "Actually I'm sixteen."
Most of the guys look up with a face of anger. I'm guessing they don't like the fact that I can outrun them most of the time. I mean their egos must hurt so bad right now.
Ever since that guy walked out of the forest my heart has been beating out of my chest. It feels like my heart is gonna explode, maybe it will. God, I would rather have a heart attack than being ripped to pieces.
