“Edon we need to talk.” She doesn’t say a word.
“I didn’t mate you when you were in heat, because all the females I have come into contact with who experienced that same behavior, were not in control. I didn’t want to take advantage of you, I wanted you to really want me. Clear mind and all.” Pausing to take a deep breath, and to see how she’s handling it. Though she hasn’t said a word, she doesn’t look mad…yet.
“When you asked the same ‘Why’ question it dawned on me that, you were in control. Though I don’t know why you had John call for me, but never the less you were in control. I’ve never seen that before, perhaps you’re a lot stronger then I give you credit for” She huffs, pushing on the bed.
“I’ve been trying to tell you that, since you kidnapped me” Her pouting lips, are irresistible. Making me inch closer to them, seeking their soft warmth along with the taste that can only be described as orgasmic.
“Yes well, I’m sorry” There I said it, I said the one thing I would never say. Those green orbs have dilated to their fullest, and if that’s not enough she’s trying her damned to not smile. Its adorable how hard she’s trying to stay tough, and hard around me. I know she wants me, she’s already proven that with her little runaway dash through the woods. Now I just have to get her to except me, knowing all to well she doesn’t want a mate.
My mouth can’t wait any longer, and with the urging of my heart and wolf I say to much.
“Cain is being taken care of by your father, he should be here shortly.” I watch as the adorable smile fades into terror, and pain. My heart races as to how to fix what I’ve done, she tightens her grip on the sheets look worse for wear.
“You….you called my father?” It’s a softer version of a sob, as it cracks against my ribs.
“Yes I had to. Cain was never going to stop, your father will do more to him then just kill him. He has that right” Frantically searching for a tell on her, is like pulling teeth out of a grizzly bear who hasn’t been drugged yet. The sound of a chopper has a tear falling from her eyes, as she glares at me.
“You’re a fool Salim, I thought you were different” Pushing off the bed, she heads for the door.
“Edon, wait. What did I do?” Her body turns, as more tears flow unevenly down her perfect face.
“My father hasn’t just come for Cain” Sniffling she opens the door and walks out.
My thoughts quickly scramble, to make sense of this whole messed up morning. Quickly I come to the conclusion that, it doesn’t make sense and I need to know why. Running out the door, Edon has already made it downstairs. Tones of wolves dressed in black suits, escort her to the chopper. While Cain’s still ruffed out body is, put into one of seven large black suv’s.
A large man dressed in what can only be described as, royal wear looks up at me as I glide down the staircase.
“Alpha Salim” He says, in a rich voice.
“Monarch” Bowing my head, as I look away to Edon.
“You have done well my boy, saving my old kin. What is it you wish for? Money, land, a mate?” He asks. My ears perk…yes mate…I want my mate.
“Sir, I wish to have Edon” His eyes darken a bit, before turning to look over his shoulder. Edon has been placed into the Chopper, with the blades whipping by at a rapid pace. Turning back around he sighing.
“Alpha Salim. I will grant you any female in the world, but that female” Pointing to his daughter.
“Is not up for grabs”
“Sir, she’s my mate” Pleading. His head shakes no, before telling me why.
“She is neither mated or marked. And as royal blood, she will have a hand picked suitor when we return home” The blood in my body snaps, at the hearing she will be given away like a box of meat. To someone no less who knows nothing about her, wont even really want her just her title. Growling a few guards step in front of the Monarch, as my Beta and enforcer grab a hold of me.
“She’s mine, you can’t do that” Sneering at him.
“Alpha, you do best to watch what you say to me.” Glaring back at me. My body shakes, as I know his power is far greater then mine, but I can’t help it….Edon belongs with me.
“She’s not ready for your training”
