Her name means warrior. She is the big sister of Leo Valdez who is not in the stories. Valda is Hephaestus' daughter along with Esperanza's. She has the same powers as Leo.
Valda's POV:
Hullo. My name is Valda Vila Valdez. VVV. I was going to Goode for the first time hoping to see my little brother, Leo. I am older than him by ten months, so we are both sixteen. We have the same schedule. Anyhow I walked into homeroom and sat down.
"Class, we have a new student," the teacher said," Well come up here." I stood up and walked to the front of the room. I saw Leo's eyes click with recognition.
"Hullo," I started," I am Valda Vila Valdez, and I am sixteen. Um, my dad is not around and my mom is dead. I have a little brother by ten months, my favorite colors are red, orange, yellow, and black. Er, this is my first time in a public school, and I would like all of the attention on me to go, POOF!" Everyone laughed at my comment and I sat down at my seat. Leo came and sat down next to me.
"Is it really you VV?" he asked.
"Yes, it is LV," I replied. He grinned.
"Let me see your schedule." I gave it to him and his grin turned into a full blown smile. I have my baby brother back and life is happy.
