"Iyagi-ah?" I snorted, trying to hint the person to go away.

"Iyagi~" A warm finger traced my skin, pulling hair behind my ear that had been slightly dampened to my skin with the glistened sweat of the Summer heat.

"What?" I snapped, squeezing my eyes shut.

"You've been sleeping for a few hours."

I opened my eyes, my face was at it's resting place; The bitch face.

"What? Then what time is it?"

"About 7:50pm." I sat up to his answer, looking behind me and running my fingers through my hair.

It was still bright outside, thank god.

"Where's Jin?" I asked, looking around the empty living room.

"He's making food for us. Smell it?" I nodded.

"Hoseok, maybe I should call my dad."

"Nonsense, he's literally next door. Just go over and tell him you're staying for dinner." Hoseok laughed.

I shook my head, giving my hair a messy look before pulling my see-through bangs into the rest of my hair. I fixed the waistband of my leggings, making a slap sound to my skin from the fabric. I yawned loudly and obnoxiously, nodding to Hoseok's suggestion.

"Where's your roommate, by the way?"

"Oh my roommate? He's at work."

"I see." I hummed and looked around again.

"Why?" Hoseok brought up again.

"I was just curious why you're here alone most of the time."

"Ah...... Well get going!" He ruffled my hair.

"Kay." I sighed, getting up to slide my feet into my shoes then leave.

I walked across the yard, it was still hot just at least 5 degrees cooler. Everyone was still outside, mowing lawns and having conversations on their porches.

While I was sleeping through the whole nice day.

The door opened halfway for me to lean in as I called out to my dad, "Dad, I'm gonna eat next door!"

"Okay-- Have fun!" He hollered back.

"Bye!" I shut the door and ran back over the lawn to Hoseok's house.

"Oh, now I can really smell the food." I pointed out the second I got back into Hoseok's living room.

"I'm even hungrier." Hoseok chuckled.

I gave him a gentle smile in agreement before throwing myself on the couch again.

"Did you smile at me?"

"Oh, my god. I'm allowed to smile if I want!" I groaned, putting my face into the cushion again.

"No, I'm not complaining. I like your smile." He giggled.

I peeked up at him, covering my mouth and nose with my forearm.

"She smiled?" Jin asked, coming out from the kitchen into the living room.

Hoseok nodded at him with his own smile.

"Wow, I wish I could've seen that. She looks like she doesn't even know how to smile."

"Thanks for that." I raised my eyebrows at Jin, keeping a cool yet irritated look on my face.

"Anytime." He winked before returning into the kitchen.

Why did he do that?

Hoseok stared at me, then the doorway Jin was standing in.

"Iyagi~~~" Hoseok began to sing.

"What?"

"Are you blushing??" Hoseok wriggled his eyebrows at me teasingly.

"Am I what ?"

"You are!" He cackled, pouncing onto the couch like a jumping spider.

"Hoseok, don't be stupid. I've known him for 2 days at most." I gave him a look then shook my head.

"Love at first sight?" He winked, nudging me.

"No." I sighed, "I don't believe in that, anyway."

"GASP. WHAT!?"

"You don't have to say  gasp, you know?"

He gasped over dramatically, "WHAT!?"

"Tsk." I chuckled.

"Score." He smirked, feeling high and mighty to make me laugh again.

"Okay, come eat!"

I perked up, exhaling for a long time through my nose until I decided to stand up. My bones cracked, even though I stood up before. Hoseok and I walked to the kitchen together, sitting next to each other on the kitchen stools that were in front of the kitchen island.

"How does it look?" Jin asked, peaking a smile where the hole entrance of his mouth was shaped like an oval with dark corners by his teeth.

"Fine." I blandly answered.

"Taste it~~!" I rolled my eyes and nodded, picking up my spoon that held the broth.

I slurped the hot broth slowly, letting the extremely well-cooked soup soak and please my taste buds.

"Woh~" I exclaimed with wide eyes, surprised myself with my own reaction.

"Thank you." He smirked in a proud way.

"Uh-huh." I continued slurping the broth, the taste was mind-blowing and very skillfully prepped. Well done, Jin.

.

"After this, I'm going to head home if that's all right." I announced, gulping my soup.

"Yeah, that's okay." Hoseok smiled.

Jin nodded, still eating and making weird delightful noises to show his pleasure in his own meal.

"Alright." I sniffed then finished my soup.

After saying good-bye, I rinsed the dish and headed out.

"Hi dad, I'm back." I waved at my dad, whom was sitting on the couch with his laptop.

"Oh hey, kid. Did they make good food?"

"Very." I snorted.

"You should've brought me some!" He laughed.

"As if." I teased.

"I'm going to go upstairs and study now, bye."

"Later, kiddo."

My feet kicked my sandal slides next to the front door before my body carried me up the steps, finding my bedroom then bringing myself in.

It was breathlessly hot in the room. I shrugged a to-hell-with-it and opened my blinds and window, letting air in the room. Which was dumb of me since the next day, I knew it would be even hotter.

But you know, sometimes summer nights are cool. Even though it's only like 8:30, but who cares.... And it's still sunny, but again.......... Who cares. I certainly don't.
