제22장:

"Iyagi!" I perked up, noticing Jin's tall slim figure at the end of the ally.

"Hi." I twinkled my fingers at him awkwardly.

"Thank god.." He scurried over to me, sliding to the ground in front of my in the process of skidding his jeans against the slightly dirty cement underneath us.

Instantly, his arms wrapped around me, causing me to tense up completely. All my muscles and bones froze at his warm hug.

"Are you okay?" His voice box vibrated against my neck as his chin hit my shoulder while he spoke

"Mmh." I nodded with a stubborn hum.

Jin pulled away and smiled at me softly, "Goo--"

He paused, looking down at his forearm.

"What?" I asked.

"What the f-- Get up!" I flinched and slowly got up, listening to his loud voice.

"Let's go, we have to get you to the hospital."

"What?? No!" I pulled away from him the moment he grabbed my wrist gently.

"Iyagi, you're hurt!"

I frowned and looked at my arm, noticing a large, thin bleeding cut on the back of my upper arm.

"HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS??.." I scoffed.

"Come on, let's go." Jin placed his hand on my lower back.

"No, no, no.. No hospital." I frantically told him.

"Why?"

"Just.. I don't wanna go to the hospital." I blinked multiple times, looking down at my feet.

"Yah.... Do you realize you'll lose a fair amount of blood?" He gave me a serious, concerned look.

"Let's go to the drugstore, we can pick up some things." I suggested.

"Fine. When we're done cleaning you up, you're going straight to bed."

"You're not my dad, plus you don't live in my house so you can't stop me."

"No, I'll make sure you go to bed."

"And how's that? Huh?"

"...I'll take away your blinds and tell Hoseok to 'make sure' you go to bed."

"Good god, fine."

.

"Where'd your Dad go?" Jin asked me the moment we stepped into the dark, empty house.

"He either went to bed or had to leave for work."

"Work?"

"Sometimes he works on late nights."

"Ah.." Jin cleared his throat and pointed the stairs, I nodded in response.

We both walked up the stairs as I kept his flannel around my arm. Once we reached the top, I turned on the hallway light and guided him to my bathroom in my bedroom.

My bedroom was the same as I left it, clean except with just a few dirty clothes on the floor.

"Nice bathroom...." He awkwardly complimented, watching me sit on the bathtub rim.

"It's not even clean." I snorted.

"You know what I mean." I shook my head at his retort.

He shrugged and started opening the store plastic bag, grabbing the first aid supplies we had just bought.
