제12장:

My hair was straightened, combed, and styled. FINALLY. I only did my eyebrows and eye makeup, added some tinted lip balm, then a tiny bit of concealer and blush. It's a girl so we should dress natural around each other.

So that's what I did. I wore a gray zip-up designer hoodie, red t-shirt underneath, and above-ankle, straight legged, linen, black trousers. Man, that was a lot to say.

The pants I wore really showed off my bamboo sandal slides, I loved them. They hid my butt curves and thighs well. Not that I'm a prude, I just like to dress modest. Actually, I am a prude, but still.

"You look pretty, Iyagi." My dad smiled softly at me, admiring my style.

"Thanks, dad. I tend to think so." I sighed, hoping I looked as comfy as I felt.

"Have fun--- Remember to turn on notifications?" He reminded.

"Okay. Bye." I waved then left after he had said 'goodbye'.

"DABAEK~ YOU LOOK VERY NICE!" Jimin shouted excitedly from the sidewalk.

"Thanks. You look nice too." I casually shot back a natural compliment to him.

Why did he dress like some sort of celebrity today? With the hot air and everything. Don't question my hoodie; It's unzipped. Plus, my pants let air woosh right up the pant legs, so my legs are fine.

He was wearing black skinny jeans which probably was meant to show off his muscular legs and thin waist. His shirt was a basic black t-shirt. Then, lastly, he wore full black creepers. The black shirt he wore was thin, it outlined his chest. But is he dumb? Not in a mean way but--

"You do know black attracts sunlight, right?"

He paused, smile dropping instantly.

"WHAT?! I thought it was just hotter today! AHH~~!" He complained, stomping his feet and slouching.

"No turning back now, we're gonna be late." I tugged at his short sleeve, dragging him down the sidewalk until we were at our Uber van.

"Hello!" The Uber driver smiled at us through the mirror.

"What?! Sorry, I'm deaf!" I started doing random hand signs to the Uber driver's direction.

"Oh..?" The driver frowned then shrugged, shooting me an assuring smile before driving off.

"How rude." Jimin teased, whispering into my ear.

I nudged him to shut up then peaked a smile as I tried not to laugh. He giggled in victory to my smile, running his fingers through his luscious black hair. I was honestly jealous of his volume.

.

"Finally." I groaned, getting out of the Uber.

Jimin hopped out after me, standing only a few inched taller than me.

"Here we are. Time to get stared down by strangers while we mind our own business. Let's do this." I tugged his arm, making sure he was at the pace where his head blocked the sunlight from directly shooting into my eyes.

We stepped into the air conditioned mall where my mascara didn't feel like it was literally melting from heat.

"Where did she say she would be?" Jimin asked as we began walking around.

"At the smoothie shack on the second floor."

"Then we better go find that escalator, huh?" He hummed, feeling satisfied.

I nodded and followed his height until we eventually found an elevator instead. It was short and peaceful, just how I liked it. We arrived on the second floor, walking out, walking around, then walking to the smoothie shack once we found it.

There was the girl, sipping a mango smoothie (As I presumed), while sitting at a table by herself.

"That's just depressing." I pointed out before gaining the distressed courage to walk up to her table.

I sat down with Jimin, staring at her plainly.

"Oh, you made it then." She crossed her arms and smirked, "And you brought a snack."

"You mean a person? Yes." I corrected.

"I'll get us a smoothie, Iyagi." Jimin cleared his throat, standing up to order something.

"GET ME A BANANA COCONUT!" I yelled at Jimin, watching him nod.

"So what's your name?" I asked the girl.

"I'm Kim Minji." She forced an obviously fake smile.

"Hi, my name is Seo Iyagi."

"I know that. Are you ill? You introduced  yourself at school.." I pursed my lips, suddenly feeling awkward until Jimin returned to the table.

"Who's this?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at Jimin with a seductive smirk resting on her face.

"Me? Oh, I'm Park Jimin." He smiled, holding out his hand to shake.

"Yes you are.." She was growing cocky in my vision.

"...I know....." He looked over at me in confuse.

I shrugged, not understanding either.

"Here's your Banana Coconut smoothie, Iyagi-ah." I thanked him, taking my refreshing cold smoothie between my warm hands.

"What'd you get?" I asked then sipped my smoothie.

"I got a Strawberry Kiwi." He gently smiled then began slurping the fruit blend.

"Cool-" Bits of smoothie got snorted up into my nose some how as I began choking.

Seeing Jin waving from the other side of the upstairs food court. His hands were holding numerous shopping bags as he held a bright smile, too.

"What is he doing here?" I coughed, trying to clear my sinuses and throat.

"What is  he doing here?.." Jimin added in, squinting his eyes to get a better look at Jin in the close distance.

Jin began jogging over to us, almost like he was from some Indie music video.

"What are you doing here?" I asked the moment Jin was at our table.

"I was buying gifts for my roommate-- His birthday's next week, you know." Jin instantly answered, smiling proudly.

"Oh, I did NOT know, but that's cool."

"How old are you anyways?" I asked, suddenly realizing I never caught his year.

"I'm going to turn 20 in December." He gave me a smile that made his cheeks look almost squish-able. And I never say that.

"Ah, really? I thought you were almost 30." I teased.

"What?!" He scoffed, already yet easily offended.

"I'm joking..... Sit down, or order something." I flipped my hand around as a welcome-to-the-table way or something.

"Yes!" He punched the air in victory, "I was seriously getting bored until I saw you two."

I looked over at Jimin who was staring at me. He blinked his dry eyes and went back to drinking his smoothie. I looked over at Minji, whom was just staring at me with lifeless-like eyes and slightly lowered eyebrows.

The corners of my lips naturally curved upwards as my mood raised. I laughed before questioning her:

"What?"
