제16장:

"Here's where you'll sleep.." Minzy mumbled, knocking on the white door in front of us to make sure no one was in there already.

"Minzy, this is the bathroom." I chuckled.

"Oh... OH, NOW I REMEMBER-- SHH!! Okay, your room is over here. I'm sure of it." She opened a door that lead into a green-wall room. To my assumption, it was a guest room.

"Goodnight.." She whispered, twinkling her fingers at me with a smile on her face.

I nodded then closed the door. As soon as I turned around, I saw a light in the middle of the room. Once I saw it, my finger switched the lights switch on. The room already had people in it-- Who? Jin, Hoseok, and Taehyung. Then some random dude in the corner of the room, sleeping with his thumb in his mouth.

Hoseok was sprawled out on the floor, while Taehyung was curled up in a chair. Jin was NOT asleep. He was on his flip-phone, on the bed..

"Oh, Iyagi." Jin smiled at me, his cheeks light pink and his eyes glossy.

"I'm sleeping there." I pointed awkwardly at the bed.

"Where will I sleep?" He puckered his lower lip, pretending to be sad.

"..I dunno. Actually, I can ask Minzy for another room." He nodded and went back to looking at his phone.

I sighed, leaving the bedroom into the dark hallway. I found Minzy in her room, but she was passed out with some guy and a girl. Okay then.

My shoes tapped against the stairs on my way down, echoing in the quiet dark house. People were asleep everywhere, passed out on chairs, the floor, in the living room. Some people were curled up on the kitchen island counter.

I decided to search for my backpack, I could at least change and try to find another bedroom. Or sleep in the bathroom for real.

But once I entered the bathroom, there was a girl asleep in the bathroom. Same goes for the other 2 bathrooms. The house was full of students from around the school. It was a big house, so half the kids of my classes were here.

I made up my mind. I would sleep in the room Minzy assigned me to, and I would change in the kitchen pantry--which was SO difficult since it was cramped like a small shower.

After changing, I headed back upstairs safely, relieved of the boots I was wearing earlier. Everything I was wearing was in my backpack now. Thank goodness I was in my comfy sleepy clothes now.

"Hey, guess who's back?" I groaned, shutting the bedroom door behind me as I stepped back into the room Jin was awake in.

"Iyagi~" Jin sang, smiling cutely.

"Yep.. Looks like I'm sleeping in here, man." I threw my backpack and crawled onto the bed.

Jin stared at me, growing tense to my figure beside him.

I curled up, hugging a pillow, with my head on a pillow, and a third pillow between my legs. It was hot, so I didn't need a blanket.

"What's wrong?" I looked up at Jin, he was staring at me frozen.

"What??" I spoke up louder.

"Should I sleep on the fl-- DAMN IT!" Jin yelped, losing his balance from sitting up too fast then falling back onto the floor.

"Looks like you're already there." I giggled.

He perked up, staring at me with only his head and neck showing.

"You can sleep here if you want, you know. It's not weird." I frowned at him.

"Really? I wouldn't want you to be uncom... uh-comfort. Comfort-able."

"Uncomfortable?"

"Yes."

"Jin, we're friends." I sighed, "Sleep on the god forsaken bed."

"Okay.." He muttered and crawled onto the bed, laying down and yawning loudly.

He kept his distance, putting a border of pillows between us, yet still laying on the edge of the bed.

"Iyagi."

"Hm." I hummed, keeping my eyes closed.

"Your last name is 'Seo', right?"

"Mmh." I nodded.

"..I met a girl once.......... A long time ago with the last name, 'Seo'." He mumbled.

"Cool." I yawned, trying to sleep.

"She left though. Like, away from Gwacheon. I didn't know her well, but.." He trailed off, sitting up with his arms crossed.

"Hm." I huffed, urging him to continue.

"..But, she seemed like a happy person. Despite what from what I remember, she was a little screwed up."

"Wow.." I 'enthusiastically' said in a mono tone.

"I was young, but I wish I could've known her better."

"How romantic. Did young Jin fall in love?" I teased, squeezing my eyes shut.

"..No." He chuckled, "Night-night, Iyagi."

"Okay.." I mumbled then hugged the pillow tighter, closing my mouth for smoother breathing through my nose. Jin leaned over me, turning off the lights and returning to his side of the bed, sighing in content with the comfortable mattress.

(sorry for short chapter. lolol)
