(1 week later & 1 week before graduation)
"You guys have been acting weird towards each other for a while." Taehyung whispered as we were walking down the halls.
"Who?" I asked, breaking my distracting stare towards Jungkook, whom was walking a few feet away from Taehyung and I.
"You and Jin."
I looked over at Taehyung then frowned.
After Jin and I went for boba tea, we haven't spoken much after that. Our moments were quick and awkward. I hated it, but he made it seem like we just slept together or something.
"Yeah we had tea a week back but it came out as an awkward meetup somehow." I answered dully, keeping my focus on Jungkook.
"Oh.... Now why are you looking at HIM?" Taehyung asked, now directing to Jungkook.
"Is he okay?" I asked Taehyung, meaning Jungkook.
"He's sad." Taehyung shrugged.
"Why?"
"A girl turned him down a few days ago."
"Ahh..." I pursed my lips, feeling bad for the freshmen.
"You should cheer him up. He looks up to you, you know?.." Taehyung nudged me, letting out a deep husky giggle.
"Kay."
I approached Jungkook until I was walking side-by-side with him.
"Oh, hey Noona." Jungkook gave me a gloomy and forced smile.
"How's my dongsaeng?" I ruffled his hair, giving him a smile.
"Not good." He sighed.
"What happened?"
"You know Chinji Wu?" I nodded, "Well, I really really liked her. Turns out our feelings aren't mutual. And she said it in a really mean way too." Jungkook slouched, digging his hands into his uniform pocket.
"Yah, Kookie-ah, don't take it too hard." I played with the cartilage piercing on his ear in a comforting way, "There's plenty of hoes in the club. You just have to find the right one."
"Is that a different way of saying 'fish in the sea'??" He frowned.
"Same thing." I gave another shrug.
"You surprise me." He let out a worn out chuckle.
I pulled some of his hair behind his ear, noticing his roots growing in past his naturally lightened hair.
"What am I going to do without you Noona? Since you're graduating and all..." He mumbled.
"Jungkook, we live on the same street. It'll be fine." I assured
"I guess."
"Besides, you're allowed to come to my house whenever you want."
"Really?" I nodded.
"Thanks Noona.." He gave me a charming smile, "..I've waited to play with your PS3!"
"Yah!" I flicked his ear.
He giggled loudly, of course knowing he was being disrespectful.
"Rascal..!" I laughed.
.
BEEP
I lifted my phone 15 seconds after I had received the notification. I was at the high school's auditorium, preparing for graduation next week.
JIN:
do you know how to sew
ME:
yeah why
JIN:
i need your help at my house.
ME:
can't you just look it up on YouTube??
JIN:
yah, im your oppa! just help me!
ME:
fine.
ME:
asshole
I turned off my phone and excused myself from the auditorium. After I received his messages, I immediately drove myself home--or to his house.
"Hello??" I groaned, knocking repeatedly onto the door.
A few footsteps approached from behind the front door, soon the door opened slowly, revealing a guy only about 3 inches taller than me.
"Hi." I cleared my throat, staring at Min Yoongi across from me.
He yawned, staring at me with squinted eyes and a faint stubble on his chin.
"Hey, uh, you dyed your hair back to black." I attempted conversation as he stared at me with a tired look.
"Matches your.. Um.. Lil thing growing on your chin.." I motioned my hand to my chin, mimicking a beard.
"What?" He frowned.
"You trying to grow a beard?" I pursed my lips.
He nodded.
"Looks good." He nodded again.
"Can I come in???" I groaned loudly, my patience already out.
"Thought you'd never ask." He rolled his eyes, opening the door for me.
"Where is he?"
"Upstairs." He plainly answered.
"Thanks.." I mumbled, slouching as I began making my way up the stairs.
The hallway was dim, lit with the orange sun. Jin's bedroom door was cracked open just for his bedroom window's sunlight to shine through. It reminded me of when I first looked in.
"Hey." I opened the door, seeing Jin on his bed with his legs crossed. He was on his laptop until he saw me walk in.
"Hi, Iyagi." He smiled, setting his laptop aside.
"What do you need me to sew?"
"I accidentally tore my jeans somehow." He handed me his acid wash jeans.
"Ah. I see why." I spoke up after examining the tear area.
"Why?"
"Your thighs are too big for them."
"Oh." He sighed, looking down at his legs.
"Stop working out, your muscles are getting too big." I tisked, chuckling right after.
Jin's face lit up again, a smile appearing.
"But can you fix it?"
"Yes." I nodded and sat cross-legged on the carpet in the middle of the room.
He hummed an 'Okay' and handed me a sewing kit I assume he bought today.
"How long will it take?"
"No longer than 20 minutes." I answered.
"Ah, I see."
