Chapter 12

Yumiko POV

GABI na at wala pa rin si Lance. Nagpaalam siya kanina na pupunta siya sa company. Kailangan daw kasi sya ro'n.

Wala akong kasama dito sa kwarto. Kanina pa ako gumagamit ng iPad para maglaro, mag-internet at kung anu-ano pa. Wala na akong magawa. Boring na boring na akoang hirap kapag hindi ka makatayo dahil sa injured legs ko.

"Hi, Yumi!" Bati niFancy saka diretsong pumasok dito sa kwarto ko. Umupo sa gilid ng kama ko.

"Oh?" Kunwari nagtataray ako.

"Don't make taray nga to me. I just want to ask you some... you know."

"What is it?"

"Blake asked me on a date and I don't know what I'm gonna wear. It's OMG! I'm so kinikilig."

"Date?" 

"Yes, Yumi. Why? There's no wrong naman kaya. Like errr! I'm not bata na. I'm dalaga na and I really like Blake! I don't want him to be turned off to me."

"Malalagot ka sa mga Kuya mo kapag nalaman nila." sabi ko.

"They can't stop me. So GRRR! I'll make paalam to them later."

Hidni naman kasi talaga takot si Fancy sa mga Kuya niya. "Ano bang maitutulong ko?"

"Just give me an idea of what I have to wear. I don't like 'yong OA. I want simple, like that."

"I can't imagine na nakikipag-usap ako ngayon sa isang highschool student asking my help for her date. Jeez."

"You're so OA, Yumi. What's wrong ba? Maybe Blake will ask me na to be his girlfriend. Yaaa! I'm so kinikilig to the highest level."

"Kailan ang date mo?" Tanong ko. Kahit papaano iniisip ko pa rin 'tong bubwit na 'to. Baka mamaya kung anong mangyaring masama sa kanya.

"Tomorrow!"

"Agad-agad?"

Tumango sya. "Yes, Yumi. That's why I'm asking you na. I have lot of dresses naman. I just need a piece of advise."

"Just wear a simple dress." Sabi ko. "As in simple and light color."

"Simple? So you mean, a plain dress will do?"

Tumango ako. "Exactly. Mas simple, mas maganda. And it will also be okay if it's plain." Sabi ko.

"Okay. So, one more thing, can you put some make up on my face tomorrow?"

"Make up!?"

"Yes. Why?"

"You don't have to wear make up. Simplicity is beauty. You're pretty, you don't need to put make up. Just put powder and lip balm."

"Are you sure, Yumi? Bakit ikaw? You're wearing make up sometimes."

"Bata ka pa. Okay?"

"I'm not bata na nga. I'm ready na nga if blake will kiss me tomorrow on my lips. Yaaa! I'm really kinikilig na!"

"Kiss? Hoy bubwit. Bawal ang kiss." Sabi ko. Loko talagang bata 'to.

"Like duh. Bakit kayo ni Reid? You two are always kissing like there's no bukas na?"

"We're engaged."

"No you're not. He make tanggi kaya sa arranged marriage 'di ba?"

"Ewan ko sa 'yo, bubwit. Basta bawal. Huwag kang magpapahalik. Baka gusto mong mai-sako ka ng mga kuya mo at isabit sa puno."

"Whatever. As if naman you can pigil me. No. Then, it's settled, I'll wear simple tomorrow. I'm really excited."

"Bago ka ma-excite magpaalam ka muna sa mga Kuya mo." paalala ko.
