Chapter 9: Destania's POV

The god was super hot-- I mean literally. I immediately knew it was Apollo. Gods, if he was mortal, he would be mine.

"What's the meeting about?" Maika asked.

"You'll see. Let's go to the dining room to talk," he replied. All of us followed him to the dining room.

"I see you're on a quest and that I have 2 children on it," Apollo said. I looked at him. He then smiled. Big. Mistake. His teeth were so bright, it illuminated the room. Yellow spots danced in my eyes.

"Yes--er--dad," Earth replied. He smiled again.

"Stop doing that!" Alexandria growled.

"Sorry. Anyways, you will face the enemy that you cannot defeat unless some gods and goddesses help. Therefore, Poseidon, Aphrodite, and I will be helping along the way. You have to be quiet. If Zeus found out--"

"If I would out what?" a figure appeared right by Apollo. His hair was standing up. I stifled a laugh. He carried static electricity. Ha!

"I was just visiting the demigods and said if you found out about the...secret cupcakes that were being stored in Destania's drawer!" Apollo answered nervously. My drawer?!

"Who's Destania?" Zeus grunted.

"My daughter," he said proudly. Ok, now I was claimed. Woo. Scratch that about him being cute. Seriously, nevermind.

"So, you're the one that stole my precious cupcakes? I would've mistaken you as a child of Hermes!" Zeus said.

"N-no, sir. I didn't steal any cupcakes," I answered. Apollo glared at me. "I mean, I did! I somehow stole your precious cupcakes." I glared back at Apollo.

"Hmmmm." I thought Zeus was going to get super mad at me and strike me down, but he hesitated. "I'll just ask Hera to make more." And with that, he was off.

"Phew. That was close," Apollo said.

"I saved your godly butt," I said coldly.

"No need to get mad! I brought you a gift for you!" he simply replied.

"A gift?" I asked.

"Yes!" He handed me a bow and some arrows. The arrows had Celestial bronze at the tip.

"Thanks!" I bubbled happily.

"Now, me, Poseidon, and Aphrodite might be stopping in sometime. You will need help. Farewell." He then left.

"Wow," Maika said. "He's a bright god." We laughed at the joke.

"About Aphrodite helping us. Is she just going to make our enemy fall in love or something?" Adam asked. We laughed again, but our laughter soon vanished when we heard a crack.
