Chapter 10: Ralph's POV

That crack was a crack of lightning. I'm no son of Zeus, but I knew immediately. I was also a child of Poseidon. Indie and I. I went on deck to see a god levitating in the sky. No doubt it was Zeus.

"YOU THINK I BOUGHT THE CUPCAKES STORY?" he boomed. Thunder rolled in the distance. I knew that if lightning struck the water near us we would be toast-- literally.

"Go away, Zeus," Xenia and Maika said together.

"You're not welcome on this ship," I added.

"OH, BUT I AM ALWAYS WELCOME ANYWHERE. I CAN DO WHAT I PLEASE!" Zeus replied. "You can't lie to me, demigods." He got his thunder bolt ready to strike the mast. Suddenly, a huge wave dosed Zeus and his bolt.

"Perhaps, brother, you need to cool off," a majestic figure rose from the ocean, the ocean waiting for its next command ordered by him.

"Dad," Indie said unbelievably. I had never really seen my dad before. He had a fishing hat along with a shirt and some shorts and sandals. I gawked. He looked awesome.

"Poseidon, you have no idea what you're doing," Zeus said. He was about to strike again when Poseidon dosed him again.

"Grr!" Zeus screamed in rage. "I'll be back!" He vanished. The waves died down and the sun came back out.

"Hello, children," he said.

"You're-" I started.

"Yes. I'm your dad. Surprised?"

"Ummm. Kind of, but do you need anything?" I asked.

"Well, not really. I'm helping you on this quest," he told everyone, "If I had arrived one second late, you would've been pancakes!"

"Yeah. I think we got that," Alexandria said.

"I am leaving," he said. He vanished, and the sea breeze came in. I sighed. I loved the sea.

"We have to watch out! I mean, what of Keto or Zeus returns?" Adam said.

"We definitely need to. I'm going to try and veil this ship with my magic," Darci said. She concentrated. All of a sudden, it was like fog. I walked back inside the ship. Some people followed.

"Does everyone have a weapon?" Earth asked.

"Of course," we said.

Then Earth replied, "Good because we'll need it. This quest just got harder."
