Another surprise Upload!!!

This one's from YoLilSmolBean, I loved this idea as soon as she explained it to me, so hope you guys like it as much as I loved writing it.

I scuttle to my locker, same as every morning. I'm late again, so I'm trying to hurry.

I spot one of the cheerleaders glance my way and laugh. I try to ignore the vile sound. Another cheerleader comes along and the two start to whisper, at a level beyond my hearing ability.

I do hear a few words.... "Ugly...Fat....Slut....."

My mood weakens, but I try to ignore what they think. Who cares if they think I'm a slut? I'm not. Who cares if they think I'm ugly and fat? I don't think I am, and that's all that matters.

I close my locker and turn around.....

"Ow!" I only knock into someone. I fall to the ground and so do they. We both start to gather our things before I look up at who I bumped into and knocked down.

Sean McLoughlin. The most popular guy in the Senior class.

"I'm so sorry," he reaches toward me with an open hand, trying to be friendly, while the cheerleaders watch with envy.

I get up on my own. I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't want the cheerleaders getting the wrong idea and then spreading it around that I like him or something.

Heh heh, it's not like I like him or something....

. . . . .

Who am I kidding, every girl in this whole school has a crush on Sean in some way.

Sean gestures to my books, which are still covering the linoleum floor, "You need some help?"

I shake my head, not daring to say a word, for fear that it'll be something the cheerleaders will be able to use against me.

"Can you speak?" He leans his head down, as if seeing my face will help my shyness.

"Y-Yes, but..." I finally speak, and by the look on the cheerleaders' faces, it was a bad choice. They're glaring at me like I just spilled wine on their pretty pretty perfect outfits.

"Are you okay?" He glances from me to the onlooking cheerleaders.

He reaches for the rest of my stuff. I don't stop him. If he really wants to help an outcast like me, it's his own neck he's putting on the line.

He hands me my two binders and my blue notebook, "C'mon, let's get out of here." He talks like we're gonna skip school, but I know he wouldn't do that for me.

We start walking down one of the halls. Out of the corner of my eyes, I see that the two cheerleaders are following us.

Suddenly, Sean spins around to face them.

"The hell is wrong with you? Can't you brats stay out of others' business for one freaking day?"

They look taken aback, as am I. I'm more shocked than anything. Why would such a popular guy like Sean risk his reputation for me? There's only one simple answer.

Because he's sweet to everyone.

The cheerleaders cast a silent curse with their jagged eyes and make their way down a seperate hall.

Sean wraps his arm around my shoulders, comfortingly, as we keep walking.

"Don't mind them," he tells me, sweetly, "Every one of them are spoiled bitches."

I can't help but chuckle. Sean laughs with me a little bit.

"Anyway," he goes on, "do you mind if I ask a question?"

I smile, "Sure."

"Why are you so antisocial?"

Even though I know he didn't mean anything rude by it, it's like a bullet has been shot straight through my heart. It makes me want to cry....

Sean can tell he messed up, "I'm sorry." He bows his head like he's ashamed.

"Ivy." (A/N: YoLilSmolBean's username used to be IvyButrica, so I'm sticking with her name in the story being Ivy.)

"What?" He raises his head.

"My name is Ivy," I repeat.

He smiles again, "I already knew that."

"Really?" I gasp.

He chuckles again, "Heh, yeah."

"How?" I ask.

"What do you mean?"

"How did you already know my name?"

He smiles brighter, "I know everyone's names."

I roll my eyes, "Yeah, right."

"No, really," he tilts his head at me, "Destiny, Maria, Ellen, Jason, Jackson, Sandy... Must I go on?"

"I commend you," I tell him, with a smile on my face. I try not to look lovestruck.

"Oooh," he marvels, sarcastically, "This girl's got a vocabulary."

I playfully push him into the cemented wall, "Oh, hush, you."

He raises his hands in defeat, "Okay, okay."

Once we reach the lunchroom, he gives me that goofy smile.

"Will I see you at the Alex Rinsey Dance?" Sean asks, leaning against the wall, supported by his right arm.

I almost choke on my breath, "You mean the dance for the local girl who saved  a cat from drowning in the water park?"

He shrugs his shoulders, "I guess they have to have a dance for some reason."

I take a moment to think about it. I tease Sean by taking a moment or two extra.

"Well?" He playfully prompts me as he raises a sexy eyebrow.

"Fine," I nod, "I accept your invitation."

"Awesome," I can see him doing an internal congratulatory fist pump.

"See you there," I say and I walk away, into the lunchroom.

I stop, look behind me, to notice that Sean is checking out my rear. I give him a look like, Get outta here, you.

He chuckles and nods. He waves and then he's gone.

If I wasn't an outcast before  the cheerleaders are going to make my life HELL.

But I have a date to the dance......

Cliff hanger!! Sorry, guys, I'll finish the part two of this and publish it ASAP. Love you guys.
