(This is a part of the storyline, don't get it wrong. It just a little oneshot I'd like to add in)
"Alright, all of you, get to your room" Alain ordered. He will sleep with Gary, while May will sleep in her room, Ash and Serena walked to Ash's room
"Today was a big day, huh?" Serena asked
"Yeah, being attacked by Xander Clan and its leader, twice. It's sure fun" Ash said sarcastically made Serena giggled. Suddenly, she made a weird face
"Uh, Ash, I have to go, you know, letting out the stuff" She blushed a bit and ran to the bathroom
Ash knew this will be long, so while Serena wasn't here, he took out his guitar he hid behind a closet and played Counting Stars while singing. He tried to sing quietly to make sure no one can hear it. Ash wasn't confident in his singing talent, he thought his singing was terrible, despite the fact that he play guitar well. However, Serena was hearing his singing inside
"Say no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars" Ash finished his song, and blushed when he realized Serena was standing in front of him
"You know, Ashy, you could participate in The Voice after we take out Xander Clan" Serena smiled
"Oh, Serena, you w-were listening all along?" Ash panicked
"Yes my Shyly Ashy." Serena sat down next to him and put her hand on his shoulder
"So, h-h-how was it?" Ash blushed
"Beautiful" - Serena kissed his cheek - "So why do you have to hide this talent?"
"I just... don't feel confident enough. What if... they don't like it?"
"So the boy who saved me from Calem and Xander Clan's grunt wasn't confident. That's nonsense" Serena smiled
"Yeah, I have to, because I love you" Ash blushed
"Then share this talent at least to our family, for me" - Serena wrapped her arms around Ash's shoulders - "Look, follow me, I need to show you something
Serena got out of the room then came back with a ladders, then she climbed up and uncovered a sheet on the ceiling, revealing a big hole on top
"What the- Where's that coming from?" Ash stunted
"Uh, well, you see, when I and Alain broke in your house, we decided to climb on the roof and just opened a small hole to get in. But when Alain got in, I slipped and fell into the hole, creating a bigger one" Serena laughed nervously
"So you mean this gigantic thing was created because of your BUTT?!" Ash shouted
"HEY, I BROKE MY BUTT BECAUSE OF THAT!" Serena argued
"Whatever, so what do you want to show me?"
"Just follow me" Serena said. Ash quickly climbed on the roof with Serena. As he was on top of the roof, the sky was filled with stars
"So how do you feel?" Serena asked
"Well, it's kind of odd when I climb through the hole created by my girlfriend's a$$" Ash joked but got slapped by Serena
"Ash Ketchum, I'll never talk to you again" Serena pouted
"Oh come on, it's just a joke. It's your fault anyway" Ash said but Serena was still mad
"Look, how about this" Ash kissed her cheek
"Fine, it's much better now." Serena said and stared at the stars
"So what with the stars anyway?" Ash asked
"You see, these stars are special. They shine without embarrassment or without what people think about them at first. They just shine because they want to see what people think of them in the end. They don't afraid or anything, they just want to show their inner self" - Serena explained - "Same with you, Ash, you need to show your talent, so you're not going to be called as a coward or loser"
"But what if I don't success, or they don't see it?" Ash asked
"Then I'll always right by your side" Serena said
"Yeah, you're right. After all, I've losen sleep because I was dreaming about who I want to be. But now, I can make that dream come true" Ash said
"Try to reference the song, huh?" Serena giggled
"You got me" - Ash chuckled - "Now, let's just stop counting dollars. We'll be counting stars"
"Sure thing, Ashy. I love you" Serena smiled and leaned in
"I love you, too, Hon- I mean Sere" Ash leaned in and kissed Serena, then they both watched the beautiful starry night sky
After a while, they went back to their room
"Now, for your punishment" Serena glanced at Ash
"Wait, what did I do?" Ash panicked
"Because you mentioned my butt too much, Ash. You need to be taken care. Now, lay down!" Serena pushed Ash to the bed
"Uh, Serena, we're still 16, remember? We still have 4 more years" Ash said
"What are you thinking? Did Gary affect you?" Serena asked
"Oh forget it, so what's the punishment?" Ash asked
"This" Serena then grabbed a MMA gloves (or a boxing gloves) and threw a massive punch on his... well, you guess it
"AAAAHHHH!" Ash screamed in pain, but luckily no one awake
"How was it?" Serena smiled evilly
"You just punched my "pokeballs". That's men's weak spot, you know" Ash cried in pain
"Well, I don't care. Goodnight Ashy" Serena kissed his cheek again and slept
"Night, you evil gangster" Ash still cried in pain and tried to ignore it
