'She’s got to be the cutest fan yet…’ Aston smiled

‘Yeah…its nice to see a smile of these kids faces….she’s very special Emily…’ I smiled ‘she’s definitely a fighter…’

‘she seems to think a lot of you…’ he said sweetly

‘I just do my job…’ I smiled as he continued to make general chatter

We soon reached one of the bays where I introduced the boys to each of the patients in turn and watching how much it cheered them up, just by them being there, although I didn’t see the obsession with it myself, it put a smile on the children’s faces and that’s all that mattered; but at the end of the day celebrities were just people like us…right?

*1 HOUR LATER*

After they’d be round everyone and done a little acapella performance for some of the children on the ward, they said goodbye to all the children and I showed them back to the nurses station so the staff could have a picture with them…

‘Thanks for today…you’ve really put a smile on the childrens faces’ I smiled

‘no problem…it was our pleasure…’ Marvin smiled

‘We think what you do here is incredible…’ Aston said ‘and to thankyou for that, we’ve got some tickets to a one off show were doing in London next week as part of our new album promo and we want all the staff to come to the concert and then come to the after show party were having at Mahiki in mayfair’

‘that’s so kind of you…’ Tracey said ‘We’d love to come….’

‘well we hope to see you all there…’ Marvin smiled

‘hope to see you there Amelia…’ Aston smiled at me ‘it was really nice meeting you…’ he said making eye contact with me ‘and nice to meet everyone else as well…hopefully see you all next week’ he said to the rest of the staff before all the boys left.

‘Think you’ve got yourself an admirer there’ Tracey winked

‘Oh don’t be silly…’ I laughed

‘No seriously…he definitely has his eye on you’ Becca added

‘Girls your being silly…as if…he’s a popstar…’ I laughed to myself

‘Whatever you say…’ Becca winked

‘We’ll see on Wednesday…I take it your going…?’

‘Yeah course I am…it’ll be a good night out…’ I said as the girls gave each other the look ‘Girls your not seriously suggesting that I fancy him are you?’

‘Well…’

‘I’ve only just met him…I was only with him less than 2 hours!’

‘Well he was definitely very friendly with you for someone that you’ve only just met’ Tracey smiled

‘Whatever…just drop it yeah?’ I asked

‘Sure…’ they laughed

*hours later*

I continued working hard on the busy shift and I soon found myself getting my thing together for the end of my shift.

‘So I guess I’ll see you at the JLS gig then…’ Sara my other work mate said

‘I don’t know if im going…’ I smiled

‘Why?...dont say the other girls have put you off because of what they said?’

‘well..its just got me worried..’

‘worried about what?’

‘I don’t know, just them teasing me about fancying Aston…because I don’t…I just met him…’ I sighed

‘they were only teasing…don’t let them put you off…its going to be a good night…’

‘ok…’ I sighed

‘good…’

‘god knows what im going to wear though…’

‘well how about we go shopping on Tuesday morning?’

‘yeah ok…then you can get ready at mine and we’ll get a cab there?’

‘sounds good to me…’

‘ok…see you then…’ I smiled saying bye before leaving the ward. I guess it’d be a good night out, even though I didn’t really know any of their songs properly and had never been to one of their concerts…and we got to go to a club in Mayfair after, something I’ve always wanted to do…I just hoped the girls didn’t try and embarrass me once they got drunk…
