Waking Up in the Real World

Chapter 11

Without hesitation, all of jumped into action.

"You three! How did all of you manage to die and show up here all at the same time?! Get out of here!" Hanji yelled.

Luckily, my parents are heavy sleepers.

Annie just glared at us and assumed her attack position with both fists in front of her face, slightly crouched. The other two stood behind her, probably thinking she could handle us all.

"Answer her question!" Moblit encouraged. Who knows what would happen if they didn't comply.

Then I noticed something:

The ring from Annie's finger was gone.

Something was wrong here.

"Annie. Where's your ring," I called.

She looked surprised. Glancing down at her hand, she noticed for what must have been the first time that the piece of jewelry was no longer on her finger.

"I'm not sure..."

In that moment of shock, Levi had run forward and pinned her against the ground, Eren and Jean holding back the other two.

Annie glared once more, but there was a hint of fear there as well. She would have no escape this time.

She bit her tongue. Hard. But nothing happened.

She broke her hand free and bit it.

But nothing happened.

It made me wonder what it would be like if Auruo was a titan-shifter. He would just transform in the middle of chewing his food and kill everyone because of that horrible habit of his.

Focus, [F/n].

Levi released Annie at Erwins command.

She kept trying, but nothing happened. The other two also tried to transform but couldn't.

Is it possible that since titans don't exist in this world, the shifters can't shift into their titan form?

So, I was thinking (and one of you suggested) that I have alternate endings with each of the characters. So, I was thinking that was a good idea, but wanted to get your opinions. And if you like the idea, then which characters (can be male of female).

If that's the case, updates may be even slower as I plan out how this will work.
