Chapter 24 (version Levi)

I looked back at Levi, surprise written all over my face. I looked down at the cardboard and my blush only deepened.

Could I really be falling for this man I barely knew? Granted we have been through a lot together. It just feels awkward, but right at the same time.

"I'm sorry for saying that, [F/n]. I know how you feel about me but I can't reciprocate those feelings. I don't deserve to after what happened to..." He stopped. His eyes were glossed over but he refused to show that sign of weakness.

I took his hand gently. "Levi. Farlan and Isabel would want you to be happy. I know you refused to fall in love before because you weren't sure when you were going to die. Well, here you don't have to worry about that as much. Give it a chance."

He looked at me with no expression. It was impossible to tell what he was thinking.

Without any warning, he grabbed my cheek and pulled my lips to meet his.

"Yahoooooo! Another picture for the scrapbook!"

"Another?! Get back here, shitty glasses!" Levi called, chasing her down the hallway.

I giggled to myself without realizing the other presence in the room.
