Just a Normal Day

Gajeel's POV

It's been a few days since the sleepover, not much has happened, blah blah blah, lets get on with the fucking story.

Today is just a normal day at school. Normal classes, typical idiots *Ahem-Natsu-Ahem*. Just the usual bullshit. Right now, we're getting ready for gym. I was out in the gym and Laxus and I were warming our arms up. We threw a football back and forth and each time we caught it, we tried to throw it even harder at the other person. Suddenly the door swung open and Syd and Bunny girl walked in. Syd had kicked the door in and was smirking while Bunny Girl just sweatdropped. Today, Sydney was wearing a different gym outfit, and I was shocked. She wore short, black gym shorts and a tight black sleeveless shirt with flames shooting up from the bottom. Suddenly a deep voice in my head said "Damn! The brunette's got it goin!". "Shut it Metal for brains!" I shouted telepathically. "Hey, no need to be mean to your father. I'm just speaking my mind- er, um your mind I guess. You can't tell me that you weren't thinking the same thing." it said again. "I told you to SHUT IT!" I yelled again. You may be wondering why I'm not freaking out about there being a strange voice in my head. It's actually my Dad, Metalicana. When the dragons disappeared, somehow he figured out how to speak to me telepathically and he can see what I see. He doesn't speak often though because he sleeps all the damn time. "Hey! Being a dragon is tiring work!" Metalicana said. "Get out of my head!" I yelled at him telepathically while slapping my head. I looked up to see Sydney staring at me with an eyebrow raised. I was about to say something but then I got hit in the side of the head with something and I blacked out.

Sydney's POV

Lucy and I were walking into the gym and a lot of people were looking at me. Must be because I switched my gym outfit. People don't really switch their gym clothes, they just wash them over and over again. I had to switch mine though because Natsu spilled grape juice with hot sauce mixed in it {Don't ask} all over my other outfit. Now the stain wont come out and purple isn't really my color. I was talking to Lucy until I looked up and saw Gajeel hitting himself in the head. I gave him a weird look and he looked up at me. He was about to say something but he got smacked in the head with a football that Laxus threw. Lucy glared over at him. "What? It's not my fault he wasn't paying attention!" he said. "Well it was obvious that he wasn't paying attention so you didn't have to throw the ball!" she shouted. "He should have paid attention then!" Laxus shouted back. Lucy ran up to him and jumped on his back. She started repeatedly glomping  him on the head and calling him a Baka while he spun around trying to get her off.

I walked over to the passed out body of Gajeel and started poking his face. He started waking up so I sat on his chest so he couldn't get up. He opened his eyes and shot a glare at me. "Haha! Now you can't get up!" I cheered. He smirked. "You really think sitting on my chest is gonna keep me down?" he said. I nodded but then he lifted me up and stood up. He had his arm wrapped around my waist and carried me with one arm so my arms and legs were hanging down but I couldn't touch the floor. "Nice try Syd, Gihi" he said. I started scrambling and moving my arms and legs all over the place to escape but I didn't get anywhere. Let's just say he has an Iron grip. {Heh, get it? Okay I'll stop now} He started walking around and I couldn't do anything but hang there. Finally he let me go and started to walk away, but I tripped him. He started chasing me around the gym.

Lucy's POV

After a while, I stopped glomping Laxus and looked around. Emma was in the corner drawing and washing away anybody who got within 10 feet from her. Those who passed her boundary line were long gone. Then I saw Gajeel carrying Sydney around while she struggled to get out of his Iron grip. {Just had to XD} He finally let her go but she tripped him and he started chasing her around the gymnasium. As I was watching the scene, I didn't realize I was still on Laxus's back. "Must be a good view up there, huh, Blondie." I heard him say. I looked down and realized that I was sitting on his shoulders. I blushed and jumped off. The bell rang and we headed to out next class.

School has been over for a while, but I stayed after for choir practice. They finally let us out and it was already dark outside. I walked into the alleyway I always use to teleport home. I was about to teleport but then I was shoved up against a wall and all I saw was a figure in a mask before everything went black.
