"Lauren's not dead,"

I blinked twice. Was I hearing him right? That's impossible. I shook my head. Lauren died right in front of me, right in front of my got damn eyes and he says she's not dead?

"With all due respect," I croaked. "I watched her die right in front of my eyes. There is no way in God's name that Lauren isn't dead."

"Normani," Mike breathed. "Lauren is not dead."

"Then explain why a doctor came and told me that she was dead?" I yelled. Mike shook me quickly, looking me dead in the eye.

"That was a hired actor," He explained. "Lauren has been discharged for a while now."

"So then why isn't she with me?" He sighed, pulling me into a hug.

"Lauren was arrested," He said. "We paid every news outlet to make sure they diverted their attention from the entire issue."

"So that's why paparazzi have left me alone about that," Mike nodded.

"Is Lauren out of prison?" He shook his head.

"She's awaiting trial," For what? Mike must've read my mind. "For a dealing case."

"You knew about her dealing?" Mike looked around quickly, making sure nobody was watching.

"I was her supplier," He whispered. "A section of the company produces medicinal drugs, but a small crew produces the hard stuff."

"When will Lauren be out?"

"Whenever she goes on trial,"

Time skip, 1 month

I laid on my bed, Quincy lying beside me. I sat up, my head pounding. I looked at the nightstand, taking in the empty wine bottles and half filled wine glasses. I groaned, turning to look at Quincy. I shot up out of the bed, looking at his naked persona. He woke up too, looking down. I looked down at myself, noticing that I was naked as well.

"Did we?" I looked from his body to mine.

"I think we all did," Quincy muttered, gesturing to Keith who was on the floor. My eyes widened momentarily as I turned around. I rummaged through my drawers, pulling out an oversized shirt and a pair of panties. Quincy put his clothes on hurriedly, checking the time.

"Shit," He cursed. "We're late for work." Keith groaned loudly as he woke up, slowly putting his clothes on.

"You guys didn't fuck me raw, right?" I asked, my voice coming out in a squeak. Keith shook his head, pointing at the two used condoms in the trash. I'll have to take that out later.

I pulled my hair up into a messy bun, grabbing a glass of wine and chugging some of it. I walked to the door and cracked it open slightly, hearing Keana and Camila's voices downstairs.

"Go out the window," I hissed.

"Why?"

"Camila and her girlfriend are downstairs," The two men nodded, opening the window. I breathed a sigh of relief when I realized it wasn't that high. I kissed them both on the cheek quickly before waving goodbye.

I sprayed Chanel No. 5 in my room, trying to freshen it up. God it smelled like sex in here. I tiptoed into the bathroom, popping Advil into my mouth and swallowing it dry. I splashed cold water on my face, waking myself up. Who knows how long Camila's been here, or if she knew Quincy and Keith were here.

I walked slowly down the steps, heading to the kitchen.

"Morning Normani," Keana greeted me as she walked towards the door. "We should catch up sometime." I smiled and waved, turning back to the fridge.

Camila closed the door after her girlfriend left, smiling sadly at me.

Even though I'd apologized many times before, things still weren't the same between us. I think she started to believe the things I said about Keana, but there was nothing I could do. If she really was a cheater, than so be it. Plus, I'm pretty sure Dinah wants to hit that.

I poured a glass of water, sipping it and leaning against the counter. Camila sat on a stool, resting her chin on the palm of her hands.

"So," She cocked her head to the side. "Who was here last night?" I coughed.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, trying to play it off.

"Stop shitting me," She snapped. "Who were you fucking last night."

"Quincy and Keith," I muttered. "Not like it's any of your business."

"Are they going in raw?" I rolled my eyes.

"Why the hell do you care so much?"

"Because I don't want my best friend becoming pregnant just yet," Camila retorted.

"It's my life not yours," I growled. "And no, they didn't go in raw. The last person who hit it raw was Lauren."

"Are you on the pill?" She pressed.

"For Christ's sake Camila!" I yelled, slamming my cup on the counter. "I don't need to be! Lauren didn't even have a high count anyway."

"Well," Camila hissed, walking off. "If you get pregnant, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Fuck you Camel toe," I yelled, storming into the bathroom.

I locked myself in there, running the bath water so Camila couldn't hear anything. Fuck Camila. Now she has me thinking about a pregnancy. I slapped myself mentally. Why was I letting her get into my head?

I felt something churn in my stomach, and I knew I was about to throw up. This has to have been the second time this week. I brushed my teeth and washed my mouth out, ridding my mouth of the disgusting bike that had risen.

Then it clicked.

I haven't had my period in six weeks. I never used birth control since Lauren had a low count. She told me she couldn't get me pregnant. I've thrown up at least once everyday for three weeks. There's times when I get really horny or just really pissed off. I searched through the cabinet, looking for any pregnancy tests. I raised my eyebrows slightly. I honestly didn't expect for Camila to have some. Guess she really didn't trust me.

I used it, and I almost passed out at the sight.

Two lines only meant one thing.

I sped down Ally's street, tears already falling. I came to a stop in front of her house, and I ran to the door. I banged on it dozens of times, yelling out her name. I sank down onto my knees as she opened the door.

"Mani what's wrong?" Ally soothed, wrapping her arms around me. I cried into her shoulder.

"P-Please don't tell C-Camila," I pleaded.

"I promise," Ally swore. I pulled away from the hug, looking her in the eye.

"I'm pregnant,"
