"Not today," Lauren growled. "Kehlani."
Kehlani cackles and chugs from her cup, throwing the rest of it to the side. I shot Lauren a worried glance. I assumed that this is probably one of her clients.
"But I want my stuff," Kehlani whined.
"I don't have anything today," Lauren snapped. "Now if you'll excuse me." Lauren grabbed my hand and began to walk forward, only to be stopped by Kehlani as she walks in front of our path. Her palm is out in front of her body, and she's shaking her head.
"You can't leave until you give me my stuff," She ordered.
"Kehlani," Lauren groans. "For the last time, I have nothing on me! You'll have to wait." Kehlani walks forward and pushes Lauren, and Lauren does it back.
"Don't fucking touch me Parrish," Lauren warned, keeping me behind her.
"Give me my stuff," Kehlani rears her arm back to throw a punch at Lauren, who dodge easily. She throws one back, knocking the tatted girl to the ground.
"Just for that," Lauren gasped. "You're not getting anything from me." Lauren grabbed my hand and pulled me to start walking, heading to the car.
"You sell to her?" I asked. Lauren nods, driving her Audi R8 Spyder out of the dark neighborhood.
"Occasionally," I shrug and turn my head to stare out the window. I close my eyes, listening to the soothing music of The 1975. I yawn and snuggle up, feeling Lauren put her jacket on me.
And I drift off to sleep.

I place the black and gold mask on my face, looking at myself in the mirror. I fixed my hair and dress slightly before making my way down the steps.
