Where Do We Go From Here||Dictionary Drabbles- B is for Broken
Chapter Summary: Broken- Not functioning properly; out of working order. Jack doesn't want to be broken anymore.
Chapter Rating: K+ for unknown-character death.
[This is possibly the most angst I've ever written, compacted into 127 words. I cried a bit, surprisingly, and I had almost no emotional ties to her. I didn't want to leave you too long without an update, so I made it an arc-series. Beware, angst-practice ahead.]

"G-gyAH! N-no! S-stop! Please!" Another punch to the jaw. Jack is forced to watch as the one of only things he ever cared about is harmed. "It's n-not funny!"
"Broken little thing, isn't it," someone mutters. Ruptured; torn; fractured.
"Let's put it out of it's misery."
A pathetically small snapping noise.
Jack screams in anguish and ices over everything for a mile around, including his captors. "GENEVIEVE!"
The small, deformed fox cub lays on the ground, her neck broken. Jack falls to the ground and cradles her rapidly chilling body as he cries droplets of ice. "G-Genevieve," he chokes out through his sobs. "NopleaseIloveyoudon'tgo," he gasps out. "Don't leave me here alone."
Reduced to fragments; fragmented.
They both are.
Jack regrets memorizing the dictionary definition of broken.
