Crystal's POV
I felt a hand on my shoulder shaking me. I opened my eyes and flinched at the bright lights of the hospital room. I looked up to find Bruce standing over me sternly, "Did you honestly sleep here?"
"No, I've been awake the whole time." I said looking around the room. I stood and stretched my arms above my head.
Bruce shook his head, "Crystal you aren't helping Loki by doing this to yourself."
I sighed and said quietly, "I just wanna be here and awake when he wakes up."
Bruce sighed and pulled me into his arms, giving me a reassuring squeeze. He said, "I'll make you a deal. You teleport to your room and get ready for war, I'll stay here while you're gone. Then once I get a hit we can all go immediately."
I sighed and nodded as I stepped back, teleporting instantly. I changed into fresh skinny jeans, black T-shirt, strapped on my gun and my disks before I grabbed my staff, putting it in my back pocket. I redid my hair quickly and teleported outside Loki's room, if I teleported inside it would set off an alarm. I punched in the code quickly, my hand moving almost automatically now.
I walked in to find Bruce injecting something into Loki's IV. I asked, "Bruce what are you doing?"
Bruce smiled and said, "His vitals have been stable for over twenty four hours and any wounds he might've had have been healed."
"Meaning?" I asked confused.
"Meaning I can try and wake him up." Bruce said, now retracting the needle. "It wont be immediate but if he's ready he'll wake up within the next hour."
I nodded and sat on the bed next to Loki, taking his hand softly into mine. I swept a hand through his hair and smiled slightly, "Thank you Bruce."
"No problem, just know that when he wakes up he'll have to stay here for at least a few hours."
"Don't worry he won't be moving." I said.
Bruce chuckled softly and rubbed my back for a second in comfort, "When he wakes up make sure his vitals are right around where they are now, I see no point in me interrupting."
I watched Bruce walk out before I turned back to Loki, rubbing circles in the back of his hand with my thumb. As I looked down at Loki, twitching every now and then, all I could hear was the clock, Tick tock Tick tock Tick tock Tick tock....
----------
"I'm sure, she's just exhausted Loki. She's fine." I heard Bruce say. "She's only had a few hours sleeping in that hospital chair for the last three days."
I felt a hand running softly through my hair, my head was rested on a familiar hard chest. I flicked my eyes open and found myself looking at a black long sleeve shirt. I heard, "You really should've just slept."
I looked up at Loki and smiled, he was actually awake. I said, "Na, cause then I wouldn't have woken up like this."
"Yeah in a hospital bed." Loki said, smiling slightly.
"As long as your awake I couldn't care less." I told him. I turned to Bruce and asked, "He's fine?"
Bruce nodded, "Yeah, he's been stable for the past four hours."
"Good." I sighed in relief.
Bruce got up and left without another word. I snuggled into Loki slightly and said, "You really should be more careful."
"Seriously?"
"I guess technically it could've been any one of us." I said shrugging lightly. "To my room?"
