So hard I am again, trapped within my thoughts. Like last time I felt motionless, I felt nothing. It felt like the pain had just drained from my body. I felt... Immune.
Although it was relaxing, I was terrified. The only thing to distinguish that was my heartbeat. The rest of my body felt like it was drowning.
"Let me in" a voice said
I couldn't speak, my body refused so I just listened.

...
"We're trapped deep within your inner thoughts" the voice said after a while
I wanted to ask what that meant, but my body continued to remain motionless.
"Speak with your mind, not your body"
After a moment, I relaxed into the feeling and decided to try...
'Where am I?' I thought
"Your inner thoughts" the voice replied
Silence. I decided to continue...
'Why am I here?'
"It seems your body, mind and soul are being... Corrupted"
'Corrupted? What do you mean?'
Silence. I decided to ask again.
'Why do you think I'm being corrupted?'
"Your mind, body and soul are out of balance. It seems a force is trying to corrupt you for whatever reason"
'Why?'
Silence.
'Why do you continue to go silent?'
"I can say very little. The voices are listening in. One wrong word, and I'll be shut out"
'Shut out? What do you mean?'
"Everyone has monsters within their heads, it takes a monster to create a monster. That's why you have to accept your true self before...."

'Before what?'
"Before the voices in your head drown you..."

"Let me in"
'What would that do? Who are you?'

"I am your inner you, your true self. Just accept me and let me into your heart and soul. It will be fine... I promise..."
The words "I promise" kept echoing in my head, soon replaced by someone calling my name.
Opening my eyes, I found myself at a riverbank... I must have flowed down the river... But how did I get out? And who called me?
I looked up only to find...
"Sally?" I said with a weary voice
"I was asked to watch you, and watching you is what i shall do!" She said
We were at the bank of the river, me laying against the lush grass and Sally sitting beside me.
"Were you following me this whole time?" I asked
She nodded.
"You seemed pretty determined and in deep thought so I didn't want to intrude" she explained "I saw you suddenly fly off the bridge and that's when I came running"
"You didn't see s guy in a cloak?" I asked
"What guy?" She tilted her head in confusion
I layer there looking at her for a moment before sighing snd shaking my head, a small smile on my face.
So I'm being corrupted? By who? And why?

And so the plot thickens! What do you think this all means? Anyone got any predictions? In the meantime, I'm just gonna leave off on another cliffhanger like i do best.
