It had been a week since I had broken my wing and it was finally fully healed It was a Sunday and I was going to bed so I could get up for school tomorrow. I fell asleep and before me appeared the two dragons again. The red eyed dragon spoke first "I am going to grant you your final gift and the one I should have given to you a while ago," as he finished his sentence I felt a breeze around me. "We noticed your clothing tears when you change so we decided that now when you change back your clothes would be perfectly fine," the purple eyed dragon spoke. "Thank you," I replied and soon the dream faded.

I woke in a good mood just before my alarm clock this time I beat Violette to it. I let her sleep in for a bit while I got ready. When it was time to go I woke Violette and let her lay on my shoulder so she could sleep a bit longer. I took the elevator up to the roof where I spread my wings and started flapping them for take off I held onto Violette tightly so she wouldn't fall. I arrived at the school and pulled my wings into my back it hurt a little from having them out for so long. When it was time for gym I took off my shirt and beckoned forth my wings stretching them. Everyone stared at my dragon wings I expertly started flapping them. The coach walked out and saw both my wings extended and a smirk on my face. "Who wants to see Jacob fly?" he asked loudly so everyone could hear. Everyone quieted down and looked at me as I stepped clear of them so I had enough room to flap my wings. Once I was ready I started flapping my dragon wings slowly at first then increasing the speed so I could take off. I was soon flying around the gymnasium with complete ease and agility.

When I landed everyone went quiet as they noticed something I didn't. "Look at his eyes," someone whispered. It took me a minute to realize my eyes had changed on their own I closed my eyes and focused making them change back. I opened my eyes and everyone seemed to calm down now that my eyes were back to normal. I looked over where my shirt was on the floor to see Violette was sleeping and someone was sneeking up on her. "Don't do that," I called to the kid sneaking up on her and accidentally breathing fire as I finished my sentence. Violette looked at the kid who was sneeking up on her she stood up and flew over to me she soon rested on my shoulder. Someone broke the silence by asking, "Did Jacob just breath fire?" A few kids nodded while others stared in disbeleif.

I retracted my wings into my back and put my shirt back on I belched out a small fireball again. I looked at Violette who shrugged not knowing what was going on either. I felt a pain in my stomach and groaned falling to the floor. The coach ran over and picked me up carrying me to the nurses office. I tried to hold out against the pain but it was growing in my stomach. "Coach get me outside quick," I said through the waves of pain in my body. When we were outside I had the coach set me down I soon belched up a huge fireball. The pain continued and I lied there while the coach called for the nurse and maybe an ambulance. Violette was staying close I saw the nurse run out just as I felt another fireball coming up. I tried to remain concious but the pain was becoming to much.

I felt my tail grow out and my claws begin to appear. Soon I felt the scales start to appear and my fingers and toes morph to those of a dragons. My teeth began to sharpen and my horns began to appear my eyes switched to their red color. I was soon more dragon than human as my wings popped out of my back. The ambulance arrived and they quickly administered a sedative in my neck where no scales had appeared. I soon fell into a deep sleep as the paramedics loaded me onto a stretcher. I felt Violette climb onto my chest and then I fell into a deep sleep.

....................

1 week later

I slowly opened my eyes to see my family around the bed I was on with Violette laying at my feet. "He's awake," I heard Mickayla say softley. My mother rushed to my side her makeup was smeared and her eyes red from crying. "Jacob it's good to know you're okay," my mother said teary eyed. I was about to sit up when my mother noticed what I was trying to do she put her hand on my chest. "How long have I been out?" I asked my mom. "A week," my mother replied quietly. "Do the doctors know what was wrong?" I asked my mother. "We assumed that because your technically half dragon that your dragon part was maturing and that because you were in human form it was trying to change you into your dragon forcefully and because you were fighting it your body started forcing you," said a doctor who had just walked in.

I felt my stomach growl with hunger and I saw my sister giggle. I looked over at Violette and had worry hit my expression as I realized I didn't know where Violette's ring was. "Wheres the ring I had in my pocket?" I asked looking at the doctor. "Oh you mean this one," he replied pulling the ring out of his coat pocket and tossing it to me. I caught it and was imediantly releived. I looked over at my father and spoke, "Dad can you get me something to eat?" I asked him. He nodded and left heading for the cafeteria my sister behind him.

When my father came back with food I took a bite out of what looked like a steak and spat it into the trash. The doctor looked at me for a minute before speaking "I think that since Jacob here is half dragon his tastes are changing more towards a dragons." I sat there and thought to myself about what the doctor had said and I felt a sudden urge to plunge my teeth into some raw meat. I set the plate on the table next to my bed and drifted off into a sleep.

I was standing before a dragon that had red eyes and we were in the woods. "I am Alazar," the dragon before me said. "I need to inform you of my existance I am the dragon Violettes father sent to watch your progress," he said his voice booming through the forest. "It is nice to meet you Alazar my name is Jacob," I said trying to be polite. "I will help you along your path and offer advice or caution," Alazar said. "Now you must awaken," as Alazar spoke I awoke in the hospital bed a bad feeling about Alazar hitting me.
