Violette came crashing through the window as the judge was about to finish his description of the dragon.

"Jacob I'm sorry I just couldn't leave you," she said as she flew over to me. The judge looked surprised by Violette to be talking. One of the guards grabbed her by her neck from behind and picked her up. My rage built quickly as I spoke with my dragon voice "Put her down or I will personally tear you to peices." The guard looked stunned before he set her down on and slowly backed  away. "Are you okay Violette?" I asked worry in my voice. She nodded before hopping up on my shoulder and getting comfortable.

The judge looked at Violette and then me before speaking "So this is the little dragon that you protect I heard about." I nodded before he spoke again, "Take these two out for some fresh air while I decide what to do." I was unstrapped from the chair and taken outside where I decided to try and stretch my wings to no avail. I sighed and decided to try something else. I let a fire build up in my stomach before I shot out a huge stream of flames at least fifteen feet long. I felt a little better but I still wanted to be able to stretch out my wings. I saw a figure circling in the sky above me I squinted trying to make it out. When I did I quickly ran to the building where the guards were waiting for me. "DRAGON," I yelled pointing to it in the sky. the guards imediantly reacted and started talking into their coms. I pulled out the ring I had in my pocket and looked at Violette she nodded knowing she had to fight the dragon on her own until my powers were back. I slid the ring onto her tail and she was soon a fully grown dragon standing before me ready for a fight. She opened her wings and made towards the dragon that was now closer.

I heard someone run up behind me and stare at the seen before them. "How long until I can use my abilities," I asked frustrated. "Ten minutes," Thomas replied. "By then it might be to late Violette and I work best together as a team we prefer not to go lone wolf against a dragon." I said to Thomas worriedly. What surprised me is when both Violette and the unknown dragon landed in front of the building. The dragon was blue with grey eyes. "Greetings Jacob I have awoken from my deep slumber to meet you," the dragon said watching the men scramble around me to get weapons. "I recomend we have our chat farther away," I said wanting nothing more than to fly away from the base. We walked away a good distance to what looked like an open area where no one was around I took off Violettes ring making her shrink to her normal size.

"I'm sure there was more than you just wanting to meet me," I said looking up at him. "Well the truth is I wanted to spar with you but when I saw what you looked like I thought it was a joke," he said his eyes looling towards the sky then back down to me. "I would use my wings so we could talk in the sky but my powers are at the moment subdued to something I was injected with but it should wear off soon," I said looking into his grey eyes as they shifted towards the sky again. I felt a nudge in my conscious and I took a mental step back so Alazar could speak with the dragon. I couldn't make out much but I relaxed and focused on my abilities as they came back to me. I felt Alazar nudge me again so I could take control.

When I was back in control I quickly spread my wings which hurt a bit because there were still a few holes in them. I realized the dragon was gone but Violette was just a little bit away looking at me afraid. "Violette whats wrong?" I asked concerned. She recognized my voice and calmed down immediately. "You and that other dragon started talking and Alazar kept pointing at me eventually I had no choice as he reached down to pick me up I bit your hand," as she finished I looked down at my hand which was bleeding. I tore off part of my shirt and wrapped it around my hand. "It's ok you did what you did to protect yourself," I said looking into her worried purple eyes. "Come on we should probably head back now before they worry to much about where I went," I said having her climb up onto my shoulder where she relaxed instantly.

I kept my wings out so they could heal and entered the court room where the judge waited for me. I sat with my wings folded against my back. "Sorry about the wings but I need them to heal and having them out is the fastest way," I explained to the judge. "I have a question for you Jacob. Is it true that in times of anger your eyes turn red?" He asked me. "No," I said lying through gritted teeth. The judge snapped his fingers and a moment later one of the guards grabbed Violette by the neck and held a knife to her throat. My anger boiled as he held the knife to her throat I held back my dragon abilities for at least a minute before I collapsed to the floor exhausted from holding myself back. I felt Thomas help me to my feet I looked over to see the guard had let her go because he now had a scratch on his cheek. "Put them in the same cell and torture the dragon while your at it." the judge said with a grin on his face.

I was dragged out of the room with Violette on my shoulder. We were chained to the walls opposite of each other with fireproof material covering our mouths. A man came in with a sharp knife which he used to cut Violette. My anger built and before the man knew what had happened I was off the wall and unchaining Violette who was now bleeding from five or six cuts. I took off my shirt and wrapped her in it. I took the fireproof material off of our mouths and took down the door my anger taking over slowly. I was soon rampaging through the hallway with claws, wings, teeth, and tail. I fought through every person in my way wounding but not killing. I was soon outside the building with multiple tanks aiming at me. I threw Violettes ring into the air and morphed as she flew up and put on the ring. I grabbed one tanks barrel and bent it upwards before flipping the tank over. Violette had ripped off the tracks on one of the tanks and cut the tank barrel with her sharp claws. We quickly flew off in the direction we had come heading back home.
