Chapter 29 Colasus

Seeing Colasus in person is definitely much scarier than in real life I quickly realized his teeth and tail were going to be the biggest issue. We quickly spread out as he noticed us and began to spit a stream of fire. We barely managed to avoid his fire as we closed in on him. He was about twenty times my size may larger but I didn't let that get to me. I looked down to see the military had arrived and was using everything they had but nothing seemed to hurt its scales. "Guys spread out lets see what we can do," I yelled. We all split up and dived at him. Niko tried to use his fire but he ended up getting whacked by Colosus' tail and sent flying into a building. Violette and I tried using our claws on his tough scales but nothing happened and we quickly backed off as his tail swung at me. I began to rethink my strategy as I realized that his scales were to hard to cut through. I swooped down again flying under him and cutting his underbelly. He quickly flattened me against the ground I could feel my wings reaching their breaking point. He suddenly raised himself and I hurriedly scrambled out from underneath him. "Violette his soft underbelly is his weakpoint," I called as I flew back up into the air next to her. Niko suddenly flew over wheezing, "What did I miss?" he asked.  "Me nearly getting flattened after finding his weakpoint," I said making him smirk. "We need to find a way to expose his underbelly," I said thoughtfully. My familys stash of dragonslaying weapons came to mind, "Guys try and keep him busy I have an idea but I'm going to need time," I said receiving two nods before I flew off in the direction of my house.

I changed back in midair keeping my wings until I flew in through the window and ran to my parents room. I quickly tore apart their room until I found a small black box. I opened it and found a book inside I quickly began to read through the pages until I stumbled upon a page titled Colasus.

            Colasus can only be killed from the inside meaning the slayer must give their life.

I read the line again before I let out a sigh and leaned my back against the wall. A small gem fell out of the book. I picked it up it was a ruby and it was a very bright color. I quickly shoved it in my pocket before leaving the house and flying back to Colasus who wasn't very hard to find. Tiffany was there with Violette and Zack who looked exhausted. I flew past them and right in front of Colasus, "Violette I'm sorry," I called to her before flying into Colasus' mouth.

Violette POV

I watched in horror as Jacob flew himself into Colasus' mouth. Niko and Tiffany had to hold me back as I screamed. "I think I know what he's doing," Tiffany said as we floated there. "He's planning on killing Colasus from the inside," she explained. "Will he be able to make it out though?" Niko asked dumbfounded. "He has to he swore he would protect and watch over me," I said believing in Jacob.

Jacobs POV

I was covered in Colasus' saliva as I went down his throat to his stomach. His throat suddenly stopped and opened up into a pit. I snapped open my wings just in time so I wouldn't fall into his stomach acid. I looked up and used my dragon claws to cut through his stomach. I sliced it open and made my way through his mess of organs to his heart. Once I found it I began to tear it apart along with the rest of his organs. I knew I wouldn't be able to get out and that I would probably drown in his blood. I heard a roar as he screemed in agony as he died. I quickly found his stomach again and entered through the cut and began to fly up his throat. I was close to his mouth as he prepared to roar again. Just as he roured I flew out and crashed into a building before I could slow down. The impact ripled through my body crushing bones and rupturing organs and blood vessels.

Violette POV

We sat in silence and watched as Colasus suddenly stopped and let out a roar filled with pain. We quickly realized Tiffanys theory was correct. He roared again and something came shooting out of his mouth and into a building. It began to fall and I flew over and caught it landing on the ground and looking into the eyes of my protector, "Violette I just (Coughs up blood) wanted to tell you (more coughing) that I love you," he said pulling out a gem and placing it in the middle of the necklace. "Will you be my princess?" he asked looking into my eyes. "Yes Jacob," I said taking off my ring and crawling onto his chest. His wings retracted into his back and his eyes went from red back to their blue. His eyes remained open as he stared up into the sky, "Jacob?" I asked. He didn't respond and I heard gasps from Tiffany and Niko who had just landed behind me. "No Jacob please don't leave me," I begged as tears flooded my eyes. There was a sudden bright light in the sky and before I knew what was happening my parents landed behind me, "He died saving you and everyone else here," my father said. "Please save him please," I begged looking up at them. "We will do what we can but we will have to take him back to our dimension for at least a month," my mother said carefully picking him up. "We will bring him back in a months time if he survives," she said before they flew off into the sky. "Until we meet again Violette," my father called over his shoulder. The white light reapeared and they flew through with Jacob. "Violette don't forget that they will do everything they can to save him," Niko said picking me up. "Lets get her to Jacobs parents and tell them the bad news," Tiffany said spreading her wings.

Mickayla POV

I ran down the steps to see Tiffany, Niko, and Violette but there was no sign of Jacob, "Where's Jacob?" I asked them. They looked at eachother and then back towards me, "We need you to go get your mom and dad okay," Tiffany said as a tear streaked down her face. I quickly ran off to find my parents in their room, "Mommy Daddy Tiffany wants to talk to you," I said as I peeked in. "Okay dear we'll be down in a second," she said happily. I went back down stairs to see Violette curled up in a ball on the couch tears streaking down her face. I sat on the couch next to her and petted her trying to chear her up but nothing worked. I looked up when my parents came down the stairs and walked over to the couch I was sitting on before they sat down with eachother, "Tiffany where's Jacob?" my mother asked the question that I wanted an answer to. "He's.......he's............he's dead," she said breaking down crying. I was in a state of shock I looked down at Violette who was still curled up in a ball crying. I began to cry into my mothers shoulder as she hugged me and cried into mine. "He might still be alive Violettes parents are trying to save him. They said that in a month if he survived they would bring him back," Niko said pulling Tiffany onto his lap trying to comfort her. "Then I guess that means we have a month until we know for sure," my mother said trying to be positive.
