I was pacing waiting for Violette to get back home I still can't believe she wondered off yesterday good thing she met this Tiffany girl or she could have been captured or worse. I heard a knock on the door and I quickly ran over to it and opened the door in a hurry to see a girl with blonde hair standing in the doorway Violette on her shoulder. "Thanks for caring for Violette," I said reaching out a hand. "No problem by the way my names Tiffany," she said shaking my hand. I could smell another dragon but it wasn't Violette "You smell that Violette?" I asked her. She stiffened before nodding and looking around warily. "I don't smell anything," Tiffany said obviously forgetting the fact that Violettes a dragon and I'm half dragon. I heard my mother come up from behind me and notice our guest, "Jacob don't be rude invite our guest into the house," she said sternly. "Sorry, come in," I said gesturing for Tiffany to come in.

We were sitting on the couch and I was still trying to pinpoint the dragon but my senses were acting up. I sighed in defeat and looked at Violette who was sitting in Tiffany's lap deep in thought. "I need to stretch my wings it's been forever since I've flown," I said getting up and heading for the door. "Wait I need to know did you have a weird dream when you met Violette," Tiffany called. I stopped in my tracks and looked behind me at Tiffany a look of worry on my face. "If you call meeting Violettes parents in a dream and them giving me my powers then yes I had a weird dream," I replied wondering how she knew. "I met a blue dragon in my dream last night and I swore to protect you two I don't know why but I felt like it's what I was born to do," she said looking at me worry in her voice. "Violette keep an eye on her I just need to get somethings from my room then we're heading to the roof. I went to my room and grabbed some basketball shorts and a t shirt for just in case I also grabbed Violette's ring. "Lets go," I said having Violette climb up on my shoulder and Tiffany follow me.

We exited my family's apartment and went down the hallway to the elevator Tiffany stumbled but caught herself. "I feel funny," she said. I picked her up bridal style and ran to the elevator and pushed the button to the roof. We arrived just as she let out a groan and her eyes changed to a green color and blue scales start to appear. Wings began to sprout from her back as I set her down she was in pain and I had no way of comforting her as her change into a dragon began. I sighed and held her hand through the most of her transformation I looked away as her clothes tore. When her claws began to grow in I had to take my hand away so it wouldn't be scratched up. When her transformation finished I looked at her she looked pitiful the transformation was hard on her she was panting and she could barely keep her eyes open. I let her sleep but stayed at her side watching over her I heard the elevator ding and looked to see my mothers worried expression, "What happened?" she asked worriedly. "It appears she was given the same gift as me but from another dragon," I replied staying by her side. I looked over at Violette who was obviously worried the most out of all of us. "Violette I'll watch her go with my mom and get some sleep," I said looking at her with a worried expression on her face. She nodded and went with my mom back to our room while I stayed with Tiffany.

When she awoke she was a little wobbly on her feet but she learned quickly soon whe was stretching her wings and waving around her tail. I morphed next to her and started to flex my wings as well. I was soon flapping my wings and off the roof of the building and flying circles around it. Tiffany grinned and started to flap her wings and she was soon flying through the air by my side. We landed and I morphed back. "Focus on what you look like and you should be able to transform back and I did bring some clothes for you considering how your old ones are in pieces," I said to her looking away with the clothes at her feet. "I'm decent you can look," she said. I turned and spoke, "You can expect some of your dragon traits to show up on their own until you get control of them. Also watch what your doing when it comes to breathing fire." She looked at me intrigued about what I was talking about. We took the elevator down to my floor where I led Tiffany back to our apartment we decided it would be best for her to spend the night just in case. So Tiffany called her mom and let her know that she was staying at a friends. We talked a bit before we went to bed I let the girls take my bed while I slept on the floor.

It was a Sunday morning and it had been a week since Tiffany's transformation into a dragon and we had decided to tell her parents about it. I walked up to the door and knocked knowing that Tiffany was expecting me. I had Violette stay in my backpack so her mom didn't freak when I came over. Tiffany's mom opened the door and I entered saying a quick thank you before heading up to Tiffany's room. She was frantic when I arrived saying so many what ifs my head begin to spin, "Tiffany it's fine she's your mother she'll understand," I said reassuring her about her doubts. We went downstairs ready to tell her mother, "Mom there's something I need to tell you," she said sounding confident. "What is it did you get in trouble?" her mother questioned. "No it's nothing like that it's something you might find hard to believe," she pointed to my backpack and I unzipped it letting out Violette who immediately crawled onto my shoulder. "This is Violette she's a dragon and Jacob because he swore to protect her is half dragon," Tiffany explained to her mother. "Last week I met Violette and we had an imediant link and when I went to sleep that night I swore to watch over her as well and now I'm half dragon I just thought you should know your daughter is part dragon now," she said tears in her eyes. Her mother thought about this for a moment before replying, "Honey I will love you no matter what besides this means I don't need to worry about you protecting yourself." I smiled at the fact that their bond still remained strong.

I answered some of her mothers questions before leaving and heading home with Violette at my side. Half way home I felt like someone was watching me I kept walking hoping the feeling would go away. The feeling remained and I quickly turned to see no one was following me I kept walking and spoke to Violette through our mind link "Someones following us watch my back for who," she rubbed her head against mine as a signal she understood. She brushed up against my head agian letting me know she knew who was following. I turned a corner into an alley way and waited for the person to turn the corner when Violette pointed to him with her tail I kept my head low and waited for him to walk by me. When he was close enough I grabbed them by their shirt collar and lowered their hood so I could see their face. When I realized it was Niko I let go of his shirt and let out a sigh. "Why were you following me?" I asked him. He looked at me fear in his eyes before he answered, "I needed to talk to you about something in private so I was following you back to your place where it's safe to talk," Niko replied his hands sweating and his eyes looking around nervously like the world was after him. "Alright we'll talk back at my place lets go," I said dragging him to my house.
