The entire room was filled with tension. El's screams were probably the only thing Lucas, Dustin and Mike could hear.

"RAAAAHHHHHHH!" she painfully screamed as the once extremely terrifying monster known as the Demogorgon disintegrated into thin air.

It was gone. The lights finally stopped flickering. Pieces began detaching from the monster, one by one as half the science lab was filled with ebony debris. The monster was finally gone and dead once and for all.

El stood there, buckets of tears running down her face after the mysterious black debris vanished. She soon then collapsed onto the tiled floor, lying with her eyes shuts.

"EL! ELEVEN!" Mike screeched as he let go of the backpack attached to his back and stood up. He ran towards El and placed his knees onto the floor and took his arms, trying to shake El awake again. She wouldn't budge and lied there, barely breathing. Her arms and legs were all covered in blood dripping down from her nose and ear. Dustin and Lucas walked over, their mouths gaping at the sight. They sat down on their knees on the opposite side of El. This blood stained Mike's hands as he shook El, but he couldn't care less.

MIKE

My hands were now soaked in El's blood. But I didn't care. All I need to do is make sure she wakes up. WAKE UP WAKE UP

Then suddenly, a miracle happened. Her left eye blinked open and her lips separated. I was so happy and tears began rolling down my face like a boulder down a mountain. I put on a small smile and refrained from my shaking.

"E-EL. ELEVEN!" I yelled, pulling her tired body up.

"Mike. Mike," she said, slowly waking up and opening her beautiful eyes.

Dustin picked up El and stepped by the table she was previously laying on. He set her down gently and sat her up on the table.

I was following him, smiling wider than I ever have before. I stepped up to El and wrapped my hands around her torso. I felt her hugging back, which made me feel better than I have in my life. She lowered her head and was crying onto my shoulder, but I calmed her so she wouldn't have to waste anymore energy than she already has. She preformed the energetic task of a lifetime a couple minutes back. No way am I letting her hurt that badly ever again.

I hugged El for a minute. Then another. And then another. I never wanted to let go of her ever again. She felt so comforting and soft. I never wanted this feeling to end.

I heard Dustin and Lucas murmuring in the front of the classroom where the monster had been smashed against by El. It was a pretty deep dent, I gotta say she's amazing.

"We're gonna go get ice packs for El. I'm sure the nurse has about a hundred, " Dustin laughed.

"We? " said Lucas. I can sense that he's smiling and on the verge of laughing right now.

I pulled away from the hug, drenched in blood of course, but whatevs. Hugging her was worth it. I saw Dustin aggressively pulling Lucas with him by his shirt and they walked out of the damaged door.

Dustin

Me and Lucas were staring at the enormous dent in the chalkboard. Our jaws were on the floor, contemplating what just happened.

"Mr. Clarke's not gonna be happy about this," I spoke up with a worried expression.

"Pretty sure we can just blame it on the school," He replied with a slight laugh.

We turned around to one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. Mike was holding onto El as she sobbed and he tried to calm her by rubbing her back. I can't with them. Mike can ignore it all he wants, but we all know he is practically in love with El.

I looked over to Lucas and saw him smirking and holding back a laugh as he watched them hug. I think we should let them have their moment.

"We're gonna go get ice packs for El. I'm sure the nurse has about a hundred," I said while laughing, trying not to sound too suspicious. I shot Lucas a look and he responded with a sassy "We?" before I grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him out.
