Chapter 1:One Hundred Sleepless Nights

*Andromeda's P.O.V.*

Crookshank woke me from my three hour slumber by swiping his long black tail in my face. I groaned lightly in pain, realizing I had rolled over and slept on my bruised face. I sat up and sighed before flipping my dark blue hair out of face. I swung my legs over the side of my huge king sized bed and stood up straight, bending my back. Crookshank jumped off my bed, struted over to his scratching post, and jumped onto it. I went over to my full-body mirror and looked at myself in it.

The cuts on my thighs were visible since I only wore sweatshorts to bed, along with a tanktop. My jaw was a dark shade of purple. Thank you, Jesus, for make-up. I used it to cover up bruises that my parents gave me. My hair was a mess since I went to bed with it wet and plus it was fading. I checked the time, 5:07. I have plently of time to re-dye it. I looked out of my second story window. My parents car was still gone. I grabbed my IPod and plugged it into the dock. I scrolled down to Pierce the Veil, One Hundred Sleepless Nights.

Soon, Vic's smooth voice filled my room and flooded into my ears,

I can't wait to see your brilliant face

Light up the room around the pillowcase

She said, "Can you come over to my LA place

I got something to tell you and it just can't wait"

When I showed up you held the door in tears

Sat on the couch under the chandeliers.

You said you're having a baby and before I could cry

You're leaving me just when I thought you were mine.

But I don't see your face,

Taken by the one hearted race home now,

But, don't tell your other man

I got a hell of a plan

Failing lights amass one hundred sleepless nights

And I might be holding on too tight

But there is a beast in my heart and he won't let you leave alive

Nightmares

No longer wait for sleep

Crawl on the ground on both your hands and knees

Just like a, lion and you're the queen of the pride

And we will feast together till the bones are dry.
