Chapter 31:The Only Exception

*Andie's P.O.V.*

Today is the day! Today is the day I get to find out if my baby is a boy or a girl! My stomach has grown a bit since Sarah, Breezy, and I bought everything for the baby. I pulled my fiery red hair into a ponytail and took all of my piercings out. I wanted to look like a good woman who was ready to have a baby even though I wasn't. I pulled on a tight long sleeved shirt to hide my tattoos, some gray skinny jeans, and my red Toms. I put on a thick line of eyeliner on before putting on my glasses on. I grabbed my phone, wallet, and car keys before locking up the house and leaving. I got in my Hyundai and pulled out of the garage, driving to the hospital.

I parked as close as I could to the door before waddling inside and checking in with the head nurse. "Name, please?" She asked, "Andromeda Perry for ultrasound, please." I answered. The nurse typed on her computer for a minute before reading something off the screen. "Ah, yes. Go to room three-oh-six." I nodded before walking down the hallway to find it. Once I found it, I walked in to find a nurse preparing the ultrasound machine. "Oh, hello. Nurse Lee will be in here for the ultrasound in a few minutes. Go ahead and sit down, Ms. Perry." I thanked her before sitting down on the seat and taking out my phone.

I took a picture of me smiling and put the caption as Getting my ultrasound and SnapChatted it to Spencer, Mom, Dad, Jaime, Mike, Vic, and Brendon. As I was putting my phone away, Nurse Lee came in and smiled at me. "Good morning, Ms. Perry. I hope you're exciting about finding out the gender of your baby." I nodded and smiled, "I am. Can't wait." Nurse Lee sat down beside the ultrasound machine and for out a strange bottle substance. "Okay, Ms. Perry, please lift up your shirt." I obeyed and allowed her to spread the gel on my swollen belly. "Now, I will put this ultrasound device on your stomach to see the baby." Nurse Lee did so and soon a small little baby popped up on the screen of the machine. "Lookie there." I smiled and stared at the screen, looking at my beautiful baby.

"Would you like to know the gender, Ms. Perry?" Nurse Lee questioned, turning to me for my answer. "Uh, yes please." I quickly answered, eager for the results. "It is a...baby girl." I smiled and started to cry, knowing Spencer and I got what we wanted. Nurse Lee rubbed my shoulder before handing me a paper towel to wipe off the gel from my stomach. "Here is a picture of your baby for your refrigerator." I laughed and took the picture whilst taking the rest of the gel off of my large stomach. "When do you think I am supposed to be due?" I asked. "In about three to four months." I thanked Nurse Lee before putting the picture of the baby in my wallet and leaving.

I quickly got in the car and hauled ass home, excited to tell everyone about mine and Spencer's baby girl. I locked my car before unlocking the house, slamming the door, and trying my best to waddle up the stairs to my room. I grabbed the laptop and plopped on the bed, opening the laptop, and calling Spencer over Skype. I almost screamed when his adorable face popped up on the screen along with Brendon's, Dallon's, and Kenneth's. "Babe, babe. What is it?!" Spencer asked, obviously excited. "It is...A BABY GIRL!" I screamed, seeing Spencer scream as well and jump up and down. Brendon, Dallon, and Kenneth all high-fived him before it turned into a group hug.

"Do you have a picture of the ultrasound, of the baby?" Spencer asked after the guys broke apart. "Yes." I answered and fished the picture out of my wallet and put in front of the camera. "Oh my God." I heard Spencer gasp. "She's adorable!" I heard Brendon announce in his usual hyper voice. "I can't wait to see her, my baby girl." Spencer said after I moved the picture away from the screen. "I can't either." I agreed along with the rest of the boys. "Go ahead and go get ready for the show. I need to talk to Andie alone, please." Spencer said, picking up the laptop and going into the back lounge. I criss-crossed my legs and put my hand under my stomach.
