Chapter 5: The Assassin and The Dragon

Everyone looked at Drew a bit shocked, including Akame who just stared at him. He looked around at all the faces that everyone was giving him. "What?" He asked as he pointed to his face. "Is there something on my face?"

There was a long and dark silence in the room for a long period of time. Akame finally broke the stare she was giving him and opened her lips. When she spoke it wasn't her voice but someone else's. "You do realize that you could die during any of these missions. That you could not return at all if you can't " Tatsumi said looking at him.

Drew looked at him and nodded. "To tell you all the truth I've died a few times and I've suffered a lot of pain in my days, but I promise you all that I won't run myself into the grave so soon. I'll make sure that this corrupt capital falls so that the people can live in freedom instead of fear." He said with a flame of courage sparkling from his eyes. Though they were all confused with what he had said everyone just looked at him and felt a sense of warmth as if they were given tenacity to keep on going in life.

Leone smirked and raised her hands above her head. "Than I guess it's time for celebration to welcome our new member!" She said before running into the kitchen to get a couple bottles of sauke. Tatsumi's eyebrow twitched feeling the future danger of him being suffocated. Mine had reentered the room and was told of that Drew was joining Night Raid. She then left again to go tell Sheele of the news.

Lubbock got up and stretched. "Well this gonna be boring. Isn't that right my- Gahhhh!!" He yelped as Najenda's Iron arm landed onto his skull. He was out cold, lying on the ground with a giant bump on his head. Akame went into the kitchen casually, looked at Drew one last time before entering to make a feast for the celebration, mostly meat of course.

Leone came out right after Akame went into the kitchen already drunk. "Hey new kid how about you come here and have some." She said hiccuping before sitting down next to Tatsumi.

"Thanks I'll pass." Drew said before looking over to Tatsumi who was sweating and blushing a bit. "Umm are you going to be okay?" Tatsumi shook his head but it was already too late. Leone had pushed his head in between her crevice. He tried screaming for help but passed out due to lack of oxygen.

A hand came out of nowhere slapping Leone in the back of the head making her spill her drink a little. "Who's the skank who made me spill my drink?!" Leone said furiously as she turned around to see the tiny pink girl looking angrily at her.

"Your killing Tatsumi." She said pulling him out of Leone's chest.

"What are you talking about he loves it!" She shouted at her. "Isn't that right Tatsumi?" Leone said to the passed out boy. Mine through Tatsumi onto the ground and slapped Leone again making her spill the rest of her drink. Leone got furious and the two started yelling at each other at the top of their lungs. All Drew could do was watch in horror as the two women aggressively shouted terrible comments at each other.

"Why is he so lucky?" Lubbock said before feeling another blow hit him from behind causing him to go into a mini coma. Drew started sweating and just looked around the room seeing the two passed out boys, the two girls arguing, and Najenda watching it all as if it was a daily event.

Suddenly a thought popped into his mind, 'Wait where is tall guy?' He could feel a striking presence from behind him but couldn't react fast enough before being grabbed by two muscular arms. "Oh crap." He was immediately picked up and put onto Bulat's shoulder.

"I shall show you to your room where you'll love it, love, love, love!" He said with a smile which showed his true colors.

"You just said it three times!! Are you gay or something!?" Drew said terrified.
