Chapter 12: The Reinforcements

As Susanoo charged he jabbed his stave-like weapon with the spinning axes towards the enemy. Once it made contact it shredded the foot soldiers to bits. The remainder quickly surrounded him only to be completely annihilated in a matter of seconds.

On a cliff near the battle site...

"Sir there's a new one who completely destroyed the rest of our forces." The Blonde hair said while watching in fear.

The girl with the bat like ears flinched. "Impossible... The poison works on all living things." She said looking towards where the battle was taking place.

Dr. Stylish watched with an intrigued face. "It might be an Imperial Arms we don't know about yet." He said adjusting his glasses. "Well we don't need any more test subjects." He holds up a switch which he flips opens revealing a button. He then pressed the button. Back on the battlefield the foot soldiers exploded around Susanoo which obliterated the battlefield. Smoke could be seen from where they were standing and Dr. Stylish lifted his hands into his air. "My custom-made human bombs! That settles everything!"

Tatsumi and the others looked at the smoke emerging from the blown up crater. A single figure came into sight as the smoke started to clear. Susanoo was still standing but had taken serious amounts of damage. His body had two holes in it while his arm was completely blown off. As everyone looked at him he started to regenerate. "N-no way!" Said the blond haired man on the cliff with Stylish. "He's an organism-based Imperial Arms! A human Imperial Arms!"

After regenerating the rest of his body Susanoo spotted Tatsumi and the others and then looked at Mine with determination. He then started to walk over to the young pink haired girl and stood before her. "W-What do you want?" She said nervous. He then reached down and patted her messy hair down so that it was perfectly straight and then pulled his hands back. "What?" She said looking at him embarrassed.

During the time of the fight Najenda jumped aboard the Danger Beast where the other person still cloaked was waiting. "This is a good position to see where the people coordinating this are located." She than pulled out a pair of binoculars. She than zoomed in around the ridge line looking for the enemy when she spotted four distinct figures. She than zoomed in more on them spotting Dr. Stylish and his three goons. "Bingo."

All of a sudden from inside the Night Raid Base a large explosion occurred tearing apart some of the outer wall. Some of Stylish's foot Soldiers came out along with the explosion and were sent flying to the ground below where death was immediate. Everyone looked over to where the explosion was and saw a figure appeared from the hole that was just blown from the base. "Geez these guys were tough to beat. I feel a little bad for killing them." Drew said removing the rest of his bandages. There was a slight sigh of relief from everyone in the group as they tried to stand up.

Susanoo looked at Drew and started walking towards him. Drew noticed him walking in his direction and jumped down onto the forest floor. "Who the hell are you?" Drew asked. No reply from Susanoo as he held out his weapon. "So not friendly than." His fist lit on fire and he started to charge towards the human Imperial Arm.

Susanoo did the same holding his weapon out to the side ready to swing. "Hold on a minute we are all on the same side!" Tatsumi yelled.

Just before the two traded blows Najenda yelled down from the Danger Beast, "That's enough you two." Both Drew and Susanoo stopped right in front of each other. Each of their attacks was right by the others faces. The two traded eye contact and then lowered their attacks. Everyone sighed again, relieved that they didn't have to see anyone else get hurt. "Now back to the real fight. Susanoo there are enemies on the Southeast ledge. Do not let them escape." Susanoo nodded looking in the direction they were in.
